Bamboo Circular Knitting needles. Size US 17 (12.0 mm). 16 inches (40cm) in length from tip to tip. Only the finest top quality material (over six-year old winter bamboo grown in high mountains) is selected to make our needles. These needles are carbonized, which makes them stronger and mildewproof and gives them a lifelong quality assurance. Bleached needles look much lighter than carbonized ones. Although they appear nice when you get them, they don't last long before changing colors, cracking and picking your yarns. Carbonized knitting needles are much more expensive than bleached or waxed ones.

Perfect for bulky hat
I had to knit super bulky wool yarn hat (Wool and the Gang's Zion Lion pattern) and when knitted flat, thick yarns show bad seaming and any imperfections will stand out.. So I decided to knit in the round and it was a smart decision! Strongly recommend..I assume anyone looking for this needle is trying to knit a hat with bulky yarn. Do not create a slip knot when you cast on, the knot will show.. Search for "how to cast on without a slip knot" and compare results. I saw in another video that you knit working yarn with the tail first 3 stitches when you first join. I haven't tried this yet but I want to experiment with this technique too..

Fabulous needle find!
What a fabulous circular knitting needle! It’s about 1 1/2 “ shorter than standard brands and looks like it may be too short to knit with, but actually it is perfect and I couldn’t be happier. Perfect for beanies and items that call for few cast in stitches, yarn glides off and they’re easy on the hands.I knit 1-6 hrs a day so comfort is important.If they come in other sizes, I will be adding more to my collection of supplies,

Usable and necessary
The wood is smooth and does not snag yarn. I've made several hats with this pair of needles and they serve their purpose well. The only down side is they are 16" from tip to tip, so a little short.

Great Quality and Workmanship
I am very happy with these needles. The wood is lovely, the points are nice, especially for size 17s, and the circular cable is thick and sturdy. This was really helpful in keeping my stitches from becoming twisted when I joined in the round. Very happy!
