Heath/Zenith 150 Degree Motion Activated Halogen Security Light, Bulb Not Included

Installed this light last night and I'm certainly no electrician. It has 2 wires, black and white. Took the 20+ year old motion light out that finally died and I had this light installed within 10-15 minutes, including getting the ladder out and putting it away. It came right on and shut off in a minute, set it for 5 minutes and it worked perfectly. The motion sensor has about the same range as the one it replaced, 30-40 feet. The old one I bought at Radio Shack for around $60. They are almost identical. Nearly didn't buy this light because I saw a review or 2 saying it was "cheaply made". What isn't cheaply made anymore? This light is made just fine IMHO, it is plastic with ceramic light sockets, nicely wired. Comes with metal bracket for mounting to an electrical box, screws, wire nuts and a gasket to keep the weather out. For 20 bucks with a warranty and free delivery what do you want? Afraid you will have to dig a little deeper (or maybe a lot deeper) to find better quality. I'm glad I bought this motion light, would recommend to family and friends. If it stops working prematurely I will come back and edit this review.I don't work for this company or getting anything for a review, Just seems like from my experience they are getting a bum rap. I wonder if a lot of problems don't come from shipping from China? I'm sure they take a beating. Also pretty sure you can buy a lemon of almost anything.Update: After a few days of adjusting the sensor I found that tipping it down more than just a tiny bit creates less range. I have it pointing almost straight out at 10 feet high and it is getting out closer to 50 feet. Doesn't interfere with close range. It's doing exactly what it is supposed to do better than I had expected.

This fixture was easy to install. My only complaint is that I wish itwas available in brown. I would buy it again.

The light was very adjustable and I could get it to activate on the long narrow area of concern without it activating on our neighbor's driving into their driveway. I was also pleased in it's range (easily over 30 feet) so it activates when needed.

Works as expected, just fine.

The motion sensor/ambient light detector lasted two evenings, afterward the lights would stay on constantly. Sadly, I discarded the box and am unable to return the unit. Replaced this with one from a local "big box" store to address---problem solved. You get what you pay for.

Doesn't seem to work right, was staying on all the time, flickering on and off. Now it won't come on at all. Hmmm

This light has been installed now for about three months. It works great and it appears to be pretty good quality.
