Creation Core Protective Collar for Cats and Dogs Soft Pet Recovery Collar Anti-Bite Lick Wound Healing

The E-Collars that are sold in most pet stores suck! Most of them do not have velcro for fastening and are hard plastic. My lab is very thick necked and most of these E-Collars seem to be geared towards smaller dogs. I wanted him to be comfortable and not scratch his ears which were healing from ear infections. This worked perfectly and didn't seem to give as much discomfort as the hard plastic E-Collars do. I love that it fastens with velcro and also has loops that you can secure with the dogs collar so it is even more secure.

Overall this cone is pretty, and it seems as if it would comfortable for dogs to wear.I used the size chart provided and it fit perfectly around her neck.. however it was too small to prevent her from reaching the affected area.It seemed like a great option for our shepherd mix who has been confined to a cone off and on for almost a year due to a nagging injury... and who constantly gets mistaken for a boy dog.The unboxing was a little strange. Upon unwrapping from the air tight packing.. it seemed the cone was not quite as advertised.. however after an hour or more of being open, it expanded into pretty much exactly what was described.After a few days of her wearing the cone we realized that it was not long enough to prevent her from getting to her paw.. just above her ankle.. inches away from her injury.I did not deduct a whole star for the shortness as our dog is on the tall side with long legs. Another factor in the 4 star review was that it only had two loops to fit a large collar.. which made the cone somewhat floppy on her.

I looked for what seemed to be forever for a cone for my shepherd that was soft and comfortable for her (most seem to be aimed towards small dogs/couldn't find a large enough one for months!) This is PERFECT for my girl, who I can't trust to not lick her elbows into an infection in the overnight periods! She has no trouble sleeping in it and it washes easily in the washing machine when needed (I hang to dry). Highly recommended if your in the market for a cone that isn't quite a "cone of shame" ;o)

Our little pittie injured her paws on a Saturday afternoon mishap (all her doing) and we quickly needed a collar in which she could sleep and rest and keep from chewing on her bandages. This hit all the marks and it is adorable to boot. We ran it through the washing machine a couple of times because she's a drooler and it cleaned up and looked like new.

I ordered this, roughly a month ago, in preparation for my cat's spay proceedure. While our beloved fur-babies typically do not enjoy the "cone of shame", we're forced to ensure their safety as they heal. That said, when this arrived, I was certain I had ordered the incorrect size (XS), as the velcrow opening appeared a bit small. To my pleasant surprise, it fit perfectly and is true to size per the item's sizing chart. As you can see from my photos, my cat does not mind the ecollar at all. What I liked most about this item is the fact it can easily be bent back during feeding times -- comfort and no strain for the pet. My only recommendation is to utilize the builtin loops. I put my cat's collar through the loops, using that as an extra measure for securness. The velcrow closure is also adjustable, providing a 1"-2" leeway, in the event one's pet has a fluffier head and/or neck. Overall, I would most certaintly purchase this again if needed.

I would have given 5 stars, However the bow unfortunately gets in the way. If the cone is not attached to a collar (which my dogs do not wear collars) The cone turns around, The bow ends up on the bottom & Gets in the way while she's walking, She ends up stepping on it. My mistake, being selfish thinking it would be cute! But I would recommend getting one without the added bow & It'd be PERFECT!! She's a shih tzu, Purchased a medium & It fits perfectly. Its flexible enough to allow her to pick her balls up & Reach water/ food. Would highly recommend, Very happy with my purchase overall.

I’ve bought every version of cone imaginable and this by far exceeds the rest. It’s comfortable and pillow-like when a sweet puppy head is laying in it. The cone is open like a flower for better vision of surroundings. I washed it in gentle cycle & dried it and it maintained its shape perfectly & looked brand new. It’s very lightweight and can be work without a collar. It’s the first cone my dog hasn’t minded. The only complaint is that it doesn’t come in a larger size. The XXXL fits my small Labrador perfectly, but would be too small for my large Labrador. A+++++ Highly recommend

Amazing protective cone but one significant design flaw. There should be at least THREE loops to hold the regular collar not just two. Having only two in the same area of the hole where the dog’s head goes allows the dog to wiggle out of the cone since one entire side of it is not connected to the dog’s regular collar. Happened with my dog and she re-injured the wound on her face as the collar scraped the wound as she slid it off. This is an easy fix for this E-collar for future versions so I hope the company reads this and corrects the problem. I created my own extra loop with a piece of ribbon but only after I realized the flaw existed.
