It's daring and it can be doubtful to place this is in your living room, but once you try it, you will love it. The map comes with some sort of nails, not easy to guess how to use them, I do not recommend using them because the map will be hanging loose. If you want it firm on your wall, buy some VELCRO, I applied it very carefully to the 4 edges and the map is looking amazing. I recommend buying the biggest size for decoration purposes in a living room. In regards the accuracy of the countries, I think it is quite decent, it might miss the name of some small countries or some tiny islands, but I think that is fine as is. The fabric is very lite and easy to handle. You will need to iron it a bit to get rid of the wrinkling that comes out of the packaging. The colors are bright and perfectly balanced (black background, white countries, yellow lines, blue letters). Very happy with this map! and can't wait to show it off to my friends and family.

It's huge, it looks great hanging on my office wall and it's a (mostly) good visual reference and it's incredibly low priced. BUT...the Prime Meridian does not run through Norway and the equator does not run through Texas. At this price point I don't expect minute precision, but if the foundational delineations of latitude and longitude are wrong it makes everything else suspect. I mainly use it to understand the relative positions of nations at a glance as I'm reading, and it works for that. However, I dropped my plan to buy them as inexpensive gift for kids in the family as I don't want to be responsible for my grandson failing a test because he thinks Oslo is at zero degrees longitude.

UPDATE: I returned the 60x60 for the 80x60 and I'm much happier with the proportions. It actually measures about 77x60 and looks great in my home office. ORIGINAL: The fabric is lightweight and durable. I love that it is machine washable. Unfortunately, the 60x60 map looks squished. It measures 58x60 and I think those two inches lost in the width makes a difference. I wish I had gotten the larger one, although it wouldn't fit as well in my space. Honestly, this product should only be sold in proportional dimensions. I wouldn't have minded it being shorter as long as it looks nice.
