Works great, but will it last?
The fan seems to be working fine. I took off one star for installation because I had to swap pins in the connector to match my 2000 vintage computer power supply. I also took of a point for value as this cost more than others but hopefully will last longer than the cheaper ones.

My HP tower is back up & tunning
I bought this because it was the same P/N that had failed in my 2013 computer. So, a couple screws and it was easily installed. Windows told me the chassis fan had failed. This is a three wire fan, and I don't know what the third wire is for - temp sensor? confirmation of operation? I didn't want to try a lower cost two wire option...

Just what I needed
My rear fan in a dell xps 8100 finally went out and this fan is the exact model as the one that was installed. It does not come with any screws of any kind so I just used the ones that were holding the non working fan and it was fine.

noisy fan
Piece of crap. Old fan had a worn bearing, made lots of noise.New fan was quiet for one day. After that its like I never changed the fan.

This fan was originally in a computer I bought in ...
This fan was originally in a computer I bought in 2010. The fan needed to be replaced a few years ago. I was not able to find a Foxconn, butfound a substitute. The substitute was very loud however. When I realized that I could get a replacement Foxconn fan, I immediately ordered it.Fans move air so some level of noise should be expected. But the Foxconn is quite a bit quieter than the other.

Easy fix
Cheap, easy fix for a CASE fan that had started making noise. Make sure you do not mistake this for the CPU fan in the HP Pavillion PC. That is a different (4 wire) fan.

Awesome!
Fast and easy transaction! I needed a new fan since my old one was making noise and starting to cut out on me. This one has a slight noise to it but its barely noticeable! Thank you!
