The ring with the catches on it very easily comes loose from the outer ring. In other words, the part the fastens to the RV sewer hookup is glued to the pipe. This joint is extremely easy to break loose and at that point the fittng is junk. Tried 3 and they all broke. Camco needs to rethink they are gluing the two parts of this firing together.

Perfect fit. Exactly as described

I could hear the plastic start to break when I was installing the male treaded end of this adapter into the female threaded end of a Charlotte Pipe 3” DWV female PVC adapter. I wrapped the male threaded end in teflon tape and as I was tightening the connection by hand, I heard the plastic on this piece start to crack. This fitting needs to be the same thickness as 3” PVC pipe.

What a waste of money and time! Hopefully you will read this and save yourself! This adapter came in two pieces. It looks like it was glued together with superglue and then left in the sun to bake. I had some ABS pipe glue, so I cleaned up the old “glue”, sanded it lightly, primered it and glued it together properly. It leaks profusely from where the bayonet connection is. What a complete piece of trash. I thought the other major brand version of this was bad, as after a year it’s lost two of the bayonet hooks and dribbled water from the rotating section. That’s nothing compared to this piece of JUNK! Shouldn’t even sell it in the first place!

Expensive for what it is. And did not thread perfectly with standard threaded CPVC fitting.

The design of this piece is exactly what we wanted to semi-permanently plumb our sewer tank to the septic at our stationary RV location. However, the fit is not tight. The twist-fit connections line up and ‘appear’ to fit just right but once the tank is pulled to drain, there is a drip- it’s not air tight... so we have the mess of the drip and the unnecessary extra odor to deal with. I hope to find a gasket or something that can create a better seal. Otherwise, I’ll need to permanently affix it to our rv connection with pvc glue.. which cancels the convenient ‘twist and secure’ factor that I thought this product had. It works. But not great.

Did the job for my E-pro 19 footer. Have a high end sewer hose , but the dump end is a PIA as it has hooks and not post - so this was the fix. Ken

While very promising, the unit was so poorly manufactured it came apart (glue joint failed) one dat in use! Fortunately I was dumping the grey water at the time.
