Bought this as a baby book for a friend. She loves it. Her 9 year old also loves it. He has to test things for his little sibling :). But it’s a really cute and good book. Will buy again for friends having babies

The story is written in a simple version for little ones, but then the actual poem is on the other side! I love this. It's our favorite book we've bought for our son so far.

Fantastic book and so cute. Bought it for a baby shower and it was a hit. The mom is a creeper into the gothic Life style and can't wait to read it to her baby.

Lovely muted coloured book including the original poem with lovely illustration or speach bubble as an explanation.Example;"Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!" I shrieked, upstarting "Leave my loneliness unbroken! Quit the busy above my door!"The speach bubble is "Will you please just go away?"My husband and I have taken turns one reading the original Poem and one reading the modern day bits to our son.
