Vast improvement over my 5 gallon pail "bucket bag"
Recently, I had a very long day installing period interior doors in a 100 year old home and when I got back home, I opened my tailgate on my truck. My 5 gallon pail with a "bucket bag" filled with hand tools rolled out the back of the truck and continued to spin 20 feet down the driveway and turned my driveway into what looked like a hand tool yard sale. That was it for the bucket set up. It had been a pain for a long time - don't waste your $$ on those things.I surveyed proper "tool bags' for months in person and online and finally bought this CLC model. I went with CLC because I still own a leather tool belt from CLC I bought in college (the 1970's) when I was working my way through school rebuilding burned out houses. That belt is bleached out and beat to death but it's still 100% functional, it still fits and I like the 45 years of "patina" it displays. The good and the bad with this new CLC tool bag -Pro:-Good size, not too large but big enough to carry my most commonly used hand tools. I'm getting too old to make 30 trips up and down stairs - I need to have all my most common hand tools next to me.-Non-tip. This bag definitely solves my "bucket bag tipping issues"-Wide, comfortable handle, lost of accessory pockets and pocket folds for all manner of pliers, cutters, wire strippers and utility knives.-One large pocket with a small plastic compartment box that I use for wire nuts and small hardware which is really handy-Surprising capacity - I'm amazed how much I can get into this bagCon-The shoulder strap is absolute cheesy junk. I'd pay an extra $10 for a bag with a real shoulder strap. I replaced it with an old heavy duty luggage shoulder strap I had from when I used to fly 200,000 miles a year. CLC dropped the ball on the shoulder strap.Overall this bag has been a welcome improvement over my bucket bag, it stays put in the back of my truck, saves me 1000 steps a day and it's well made. Hope that helps!

Great tool bag for a handy man. Lots of tools will fit to get the job done
Very great quality and so many slots for tools. I have 9 rental houses and wanted something to hold all my tools with easy access. I like I have everything with me to fix so I don't need to make multiple trips.

Absolutely The Best For A Very Large Number Of Tools, Visible At A Glance
I am a DIY home re-modeler, always involved in some type of project around the house, including a lot of minor repairs. I have used quite a few different tool boxes and carriers, but had not found one yet that could carry the large number of misc tools which I prefer to have at my side when working. And those which did, were closed top or not enough compartments to keep everything visible to the eye, so I had to dig deep through multiple tools at the bottom of a bag, to find what I need. And I hate running out to the garage shop to retrieve something I need, slowing me down and wasting steps.Well not anymore since I found this little gem of a bag. It has more pockets and compartments than most people would really need, unless you are like me. What I love about this one is that there are a large number of pockets on the outside, in a large variety of sizes, so I can load them up with every imaginable tool for repairs and remodeling (short of power tools of course). I can spot "at a glance" exactly which tool I want to grab at any moment. And since it has a rather large central area which is not segmented in the middle, I can throw my cordless drill and my cordless battery operated screwdriver in that middle section, along with odd shaped things like a speed square, etc. ,which pretty much completes 90% of my needs for mobility. And as many tools that I currently have in this thing, I have used very few of the copious number of additional pockets on the inside rim of the bag. So it could easily accommodate quite a few more tools. As it is pictured in the attached, it is heavy, but easy to carry with the central handle which has a rigid bar inside of the canvas sleeve. There is also shoulder strap which I don't use. Easier to lug this kind of weight around, in hand, off the my side. Not to mention this thing is built rock solid with heavy duty materials and stitching.Buy this rig. You will not be disappointed in any way. I can't think of thing to improve it and I certainly can't find this kind of carry capacity in any of the big box stores (looked at HD, Lowes, Menards, Harbor Freight, as well as a lot online and no one comes close to the value capacity of this one).

Best bang for the buck
I know its categorized for an electrician, but this thing has been a godsend for trim carpentry. Seems like they thought of everythingthe plastic case is perfect for custom bits, plug cutters, countersinks, scribes, corner chisels, and other stuff you don't want messed up;There are enough slots for all the major chisels you needs, and the compartmentalized end sections hold well small block planes, rabbet planes, digital devices, card scrapers, small files, etc.The swinging handle means that it doesn't torque your wrist and elbow while you carry it, if you overload it like I do.There are enough thin metal parts that it's easy to clip accessories to, and there's a lanyard which I find great for masking tapes and such. Having this thing has reduced the number of trips I've needed to take to my van because it's so good at holding so much.
