Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser by Smiley Daisy - 80ml Water Capacity - Great Gift for Women and Men

I will just begin by saying this brand of diffuser is(in my experience thus far) excellent for various reasons.. First, the units they produce work great. I have a small issue with condensation buildup on the top of this unit and smiley daisy is sending me another, but short of that, the throw that these devices put out are amazing! I have this unit and also their smaller(don't know if I really should call it smaller)unit. Both of them work great on different principles.The small unit is fan blown and it's diffusion blows strongly upward and at an angle. This unit, is an overflow type, in which the condensation builds in the cap of the water chamber, and the diffusion blows vertically and simply spills over. Because of the vast amount of diffusion that the unit produces, the diffusion "mist" does jet itself up approximately 2 to 3 inches, but then, it spills over and down the sides. It is very much like a volcano effect, that honestly I find soothing to watch.The unit, just like its small brother, is very simple to operate and honestly, on constant, lasts, as the site states, a good 7 hours with mine. It is amazing and effecient how 80ml of water can last so long. But, also, the color LED on this unit are quite numerous. I enjoy scrolling through the options and selecting depending on time of day and mood.Another thing that cannot be underestimated on all of the Smiley Daisy units, are the independent controls of lighting and misting. Because of this single feature, it's easy, if your doing "mood diffusing", or just diffusing in general to either refill or change scents without having to turn lights on in the room. Because you can keep the led's on, you simply turn the diffuser switch to off, while leaving the lighting on. You can completely see what your doing, and not break the mood or feeling.The controls of course are easy to use, just like it's smaller brother. And after owning this one for a while, I actually wish, while at the same time, can live without the intermitten misting of the smaller one. I imagine, it would, like the smaller unit, allow it to last much longer before refill, but I find myself simply running them constant because one refill lasts so long. So it's a personal preference of course.All in all, I highly recommend this unit for it's features, convience and price. Not to mention, their customer service is excellent!Update: I purchased two of these units when they were available, along with two of the more cylindrical units. These two units ceased to function, and I see why they are no longer available. I wish I had written sooner to return the units for refund or exchange for the cylinder units. The cylinder units work great, are silent and keep on going.. But now I have two paperweight sitting doing nothing.. Please steer away from these if they become available again, and purchase their other units that work fantastic!

I have had this diffuser for a week and I've used it every night. So far I love it. It is the third diffuser and the third humidifier I've used in the last few years, and it is by far the best of either product category I've used. I was nervous about the tiny size when I received it, but after one night my worries were completely resolved. It does an incredible job of humidifying (within the 200-sq.-foot range it claims), and diffusing my essential oils without wasting tons of water or oil. Just 1/3 cup of water and a couple drops of oil is all I needed to make my bedroom a comfortable little paradise. The timing was perfect, as my baby boy got a minor cold shortly after it arrived.I did have a few concerns at first, but Jeffrey, a co-founder of the company, quickly helped me resolve them. First, I didn't notice that the cup that comes with the diffuser to fill it has measuring lines, so I was unsure of how to accurately fill the diffuser. But if I had looked closer I would have seen the lines on the cup. Second, I didn't realize that you could turn off the LED light by holding in the light button for two seconds, so I was getting annoyed by the beeping button every time I needed to turn off the light.I really don't have any other qualms with the diffuser. It's attractive, super effective, and extremely portable. I could not be happier so far.

The 1 star ding is for the directions; they are awful and need to be rewritten. Figure 4 shows oil being put into the top with the cover removed somehow, but there are absolutely no worded directions regarding figure 4, and I don't know if you can really put any oil there as it shows. Figure 6 shows me absolutely nothing of great detail. Also, the directions state to add 2-3 drops of oil per 100ml, however this diffuser only holds 80ml of water in its reservoir tank. Lastly, the directions advise you to clean the tank using citric acid (sour salt) after every 5-6 times of use or every 2-3 days. Where do I buy citric acid salt? Is it for hard water build up in the water reservoir? I think the diffuser should initially come with some citric acid salt or have the option to add this on to your amazon purchase.The diffuser itself works well. I love the LED light color change options. The company seems to genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Not only did I receive an insert regarding product satisfaction, they sent me a follow-up e-mail to ensure I was completely satisfied with this purchase.Overall, I would purchase another Smiley Daisy essential oil diffuser.

I received the Smiley Daisy oil diffuser super fast. I am really enjoying the diffuser. I like how it's small and does not take up much room, but it also stays on for a long time. I also like how you can select certain time frames and then the machine will turn itself off after the time is up. I live in a 900 square foot apartment and you can definitely smell the oil I have in the diffuser when you walk into my apartment. I currently use Lavender, Germ Fighter, Frankincense, Lemon, and Eucalyptus essential oils. The diffuser is very easy to use and the directions provided and very clear. I also like how the diffuser has a light (different colors too and can be adjusted to bright or dim). I have the light on bright during the day and when I sleep I can turn the light function off. I personally use a little bit of vinegar to clean the unit. I am glad I purchased this diffuser. I personally like the option of having a timer or just leaving the unit on (the unit will shut itself off if it runs out of water). I also like the different colors of light. It's also not loud and I can't even hear it when it's on. Thanks for making a great diffuser that has different options.
