I like this a lot! I have several for a nice neat look among other plants in my landscape.
I appreciate its appearance; I don't care for typical wire cages. I like that I can regulate the height of support by adding rings as the plant grows. I like that these fit either in containers or just outside containers (the bottom ring without its "legs" rest on hard surface) to give plants adequate "breathing room" and support. One package contains 5 large rings and 15 "legs" that punch into pre-drilled holes in the rings. I like that these won't rust.I'm a container gardener who doesn't want to bend down low to the ground to dig holes or to amend the soil each time I need to plant anew. I amend in large pots that I can move around the yard (to give a different look to the yard when I get tired of looking at same-ol' same-ol'). And if my knees bother me, I can lift the pots and elevate them onto a patio bench for the rest of their lives.Easy to assemble into various shapes and heights. Assembled, this trellis supports and protects a variety of plants. Rings interlock to form a trellis system.Space saver storage. Each ring can be disassembled and returned, for example, to its original box to be stored for use next season.Designed with wide flat support surfaces with no sharp edges. I can also easily re-adjust foliage and stems while it's growing in this support trellis. And entire trellis can be used as plant cover supports during cold (as well as 3-digit temperature) weather: Cover delicate plants without crushing when covered with plastic bags or drop cloths. I drape soft 40% mesh shade cloth (to prevent 40% UV rays from "sun-burning" vegetables) over the top of the very last ring (at the top of this trellis) to cover and protect the growing plant from head to toe.Supports are made of UV-stabilized material. If you're not a veggie gardener, this "growing cage" can be used to support vines planted in containers.Visit clever-gardener.com for additional photos and free downloadable instruction sheet.

Works as advertised
6ft tall beside combined 2 cages. Accidentally bought indeterminate plant, have been adding more layers to support its growth. I did tie the cage once on each side to the frame on my box. This is the third season of using this product. Meets my needs.

I liked that these are modular and can be set to different heights based on the plant and can breakdown for easy storage in the winter. My only complaint is that 2 of the supports had plastic residue in the top hole (for the next layer). A long skinny pocket knife can clear it up, but it was a bit of a pain since I did not realize this until trying to add the next layer as the plant grew.

Not sturdy enough for outside use
This product simply is not meant to be used outside or in any situation where there might be something that could disturb it. The rings/poles simply just "fit" together but do not securely snap or lock into place. This means that you can simply pull up and lift any ring off with very little force.I tried super gluing with loc tite but that didn't work. I then tried zip ties but those didn't work either due to the bad design. Honestly this was a waste of money.

a wonderful product
When I received my order, I was impressed with the apparent quality and sturdiness of the grow cage. I especially liked the fact that the ring-and-leg units could be used individually or added as a plant grew. I originally purchased this grow cage for a newly-planted salvia (sage) that could grow up to 18 feet high. Unfortunately, my home-owners' association over-watered the salvia plant and it died before I could use my grow cage. Then, due to a clerical error, other salvia plants that I ordered arrived three weeks early. July is too hot to plant in Texas. I found an unconventional use for my grow cage. The individual ring-and-legs units have dish towels clipped to them to form tents over my newly planted salvia.

Not sturdy enough
I wanted to like these. I limped through last summer with them and the tomatoes but was constantly having to add stakes to keep it from toppling over. Went into the trash at the end of the season.

Fragile structure
I like the body of the cage but the material was thin and fragile. It would not hold the weight of medium to big fruits.

Convenient
Easy to put together, convenient to break down and store during off season. Can stack as few or as many levels as you want. First year using these and so far so good! A little expensive but if they last a few years I believe it will be worth it.
