Villa Root Barrier rolls are made of either polystyrene or polyethylene materials and each roll is accompanied with an H connector for easy installation. When the time comes for planting, this material can be scored at a desired length then connected for an airtight, watertight seal. Be sure to have the ½” deflection ribs, which are spaced every 6 inches, facing the tree roots. This product is used in both lineal and surround applications. Tree root barrier
As claimed, a sturdy plastic barrier for tree roots. It will take years before I know if it really blocks the growth of roots.I used it to block the roots from growing under a new concrete driveway.
