Avène Cleansing Foam Face Wash

I have suffered from cystic acne for nearly 25 years. It was something that came about during my adult years after having children. When I tell you I have tried everything, I literally mean I have tried everything. Facial cleansers, dietary changes, OTC products, prescription products. Nothing seemed to work. I was honestly reserved to the fact that I would always suffer from cystic acne. I read many reviews and decided to give this a try and I have now been cleared of my cystic acne for the last 3 months. I now have a facial regimen that works well for me. I read another user's review and decided to try it myself and have been so shocked that this worked, I wanted to share. I do not remember who it was, but this changed my life. My cystic acne was located on the chin area, usually from the corner of one lip to the other. I wouldn't break out anywhere else, but that area would get one on top of the other in clusters. It was extremely painful and would last weeks at a time. I never really had days where I didn't have a breakout, and this lasted 25 years. So whoever it was that posted that review with their regimen, I thank you. I don't use everything they did but tweaked it for myself and cannot be happier with the results. I use this product as a facial cleanser, then follow it up with The Avene thermal spring water mist to hydrate the skin. I let it dry, then I use Hydrating Face mist by MannaKadar Skincare (which smells amazing and really hydrates the face). And I will do a face mask once a week of the Aztec Indian Healing Bentonite Clay for about 20 minutes. For the first time in nearly 25 years, I have no cystic acne and I'm going on 3 months of clear skin. Simply amazing.

Bought it for my face because several years ago I discovered their Hydrance face lotion and was the only lotion that didn’t react with the super-sensitive dry skin on my face. So when I was looking for a face cleanser this is the brand I went to. I have oily skin now that I stopped a medication, and this cleanser makes my face tolerable. You might not think ‘tolerable’ is a pro, but believe me it is. The oil on my face prior to using this cleanser was this slick, nasty film that coated my whole face no matter what I did. My neck at my hairline also started recently getting that slimy, oily feel to it and I started breaking out there - for the first time in my life! I started using the cleanser on my neck, too, and it not only cleared up my neck, but the skin there is also back to how skin should normally feel. I’m a 42-year-old woman and now I guess I’m like a teenager when it comes to my skin again. Oh what fun.

This cleansing foam is great. I just started using it and it is so light and yet also cleans the day away quite well. My dermatologist recommended Avene to me to use because of the high quality. I started with their sunscreen and now I use all their products. They have no perfume, no additives, and they do well for dry skin. I have relatively dry skin and I combine two of the products for the perfect moisture. The price matches the quality. GREAT products for me. I am 52 and have used Avene for 3 years. Try it!

Not too much help but bought for my daughter who likes the brand. Her skin is sensitive and it cleaned her face very well.

I purchased the Asian version of this cleansing foam in Hong Kong, during a recent trip, for at least 50% more than I paid on Amazon. I had forgotten my usual soap (Purpose) at home and needed something for my sensitive skin. I was amazed on first use! All of my makeup came off easily an my skin felt clean and soft/ After one week, I was confident that I would not get any of the dryness, itching, or rashes that I usually get with other facial soaps (not Purpose, though). It is not unusual for me to wake-up with a small bump or two. That has happened only once since I have been using this foam and the bump quickly resolved, leaving no discoloration or evidence that it had been there after only two days. I have been using this foam daily, at bedtime, for almost a month and there are no signs that I am about to run out. I just ordered this to make sure that I am prepared when I do. I have used Purpose soap for at least the last 15 years (searching store after store to purchase it) until discovering this cleansing foam, and have not used it since.

Originally I picked this up from a drug store in Paris, France when I realized I had left without face wash. I am so happy things worked out because this has become my favorite daily face wash. Gentle enough to not dry out your skin (not dry not oily) but strong enough to remove make up remover oil and markup residue. It has a fresh floral scent and comes in a foaming bottle.

I use this face cleaner once or twice a day. My MD recommended. It is light and foamy and not too heavy. The smell is fine but a bit of an older perfume scent-but it is ok and works-this is my second bottle purchase and it works great on my sensitive skin.

I like it a lot. Easy to use and leaves face clean and soft. Perfect for all, especially teenagers or people with sensitive acneic skins. Rinses well with minimum residue, lasts 2 to 3 months.

I have oily skin in summers and monsoons and normal or dry in winters. I’m not very regular with face washing as I prefer to use warm wash cloths instead but I’ve used about 5 of these and in my experience, using this face wash is circular motion for 3 minutes gets rid of all white heads and blackheads and dead skin without irritating sensitive or allergy prone skin. Doesn’t take off makeup as advertised but works with double cleansing routine.

Ich benutze nun schon seit 2 Jahren Avène und habe mehrere Produkte ausprobiert. Dieser Reinigungsschaum war für mich der absolute Gamechanger. Meine Haut ist endlich so zart, gesund und frisch. Zusammen mit dem milden Peeling und dem Aqua-Gel einfach unschlagbar!

Ürün güzel ama genel olarak kullanımdan sonra cildi kurutuyor. Benim cildim yağ konusunda sıkıntı yaşamadığı için beğendim ama kuru ciltler için iyi olacağını sanmam.
