Food For A Happy Parrot
Crazy Corn is a wonderful product in the world of parrot food. My Lilac Crown Amazon is a very picky eater, but she LOVES this stuff. I feel confident that she is getting good nutrition, and she's happy to eat it every morning. When you get the bag, you will see that this flavor - Rainforest Rice Pudding - consists of things like dried bananas, pistachios, raisins, and so on. You put the dried food in a pot with some water, then boil it for about twenty five minutes to rehydrate it. I mix in a bag of mixed veggies about five minutes from the end for extra birdie nutrition. From this point, you put it in little baggies and freeze it, with enough food for three days or so per baggie - it makes a lot - and then thaw and gently reheat for your parrot as needed. This might seem like a bit of prep time, but it makes enough to last quite a while, so I consider it worth my time to make. The only drawback is that it's difficult to find, as some parrot stores only carry it sporadically. Although not available through Amazon Prime, Amazon is nonetheless a reliable source for this product, and I appreciate that. I hope your parrots enjoy it too!

Good Cooked Food for Birds
I've been cooking this product for my macaw for a few years. It is a great way to cook and freeze individual servings for her on evenings when I don't have something else for dinner that she can have.

rainforest pudding for birds
My double yellow head parrot loves rainforest pudding. I usually cook a batch up and freeze the rest. It is yummy according to her. This product is always consistent in quality and ingredients.
