Biological Psychology

Its well written and contains great material but they cut corners in printing by printing it in black and white and using thin paper that allows highlighter ink to bleed through. For what they charge for college text books, they should at least be high quality. Also, I think the next was too small of a font. Perhaps worst of all, the book I received did not have a copyright page. What kind of college text doesn't have a copyright page? Its a brand new text not used and its missing this page. You open the cover and there is a blurb about the author and the following page is the table of context. Who ever printed this did not consider the audience who would be using this text. Thumbs up to the author but thumbs down to the printer.

The book was a copied version, not original which I don't mind if it was described that way but it wasn't. It seems all the pages were all together I'm very happy about that.

Not the best textbook.

I did not like the fact that all the pictures were in black and white. The back corners of the book are bent.

Good and cheap

Kalat has always been the best writer for biological psychology. You get summaries of real research that has been properly validated by peers using proper protocols and statistical analysis. Please note that this version is cheaper because it is the Indian sub-continent version on lower grade paper in black and white (which is absolutely fine). If you want premium printing you will pay 3x the price.

Rubbish book, totally weird, all in black and white, pages were thin paper

The book is printed in black and white, this makes reading the diagrams significantly harder. It also seems like this is a photocopy, it has a label that says the edition is only listened for India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

This book is really helpful as it is what my biopsychology unit is based off of. They have great, easy and simple examples to explain certain theories and definitions etc. The book also has ‘try it for you

great for first year psychology

I'm very happy with this purchase and it will cut down the cost of my fortnightly massages.

Took a while to arrive but the quality is good and it came undamaged.

Although only black and white paper (easy to rip) inside, it's was in perfect condition and just what I needed.

There are some major perspectives in psychology. One of them is biological. The book takes full account of biological perspective. So, we get to know how brain and behavior interact. I'd say it's the best book to start with if one is interested in behavioral neuroscience.

Book is black and white. If you are expecting a colored version of this book then this won't serve your purpose. However, the content of the book is good and is presented logically.

Good book for researchers in the field of biological psychology

For academics (masters level) I wouldn't recommend this book. But it covers all the sub topics, good reference book, states important and good facts regarding the subject.

The book is excellent, but two-three pages were missing. Otherwise, I believe its perfect.
