Solar pump
This is the 2nd solar pump I have purchased in 2 yrs. The first one lasted 2 seasons and died. This one is working fine so far. Some of the features were different with this one. The stake to attach the solar panel was a fixed stake unlike the first one which could be tilted, so just used the stake from the first. This one has lights which have not yet worked...but I was more interested in filtering the small water feature than I was illuminating it. I did purchase an extended warranty on this one.

Will not function to spec.
Does not pump to height as advertized. Slightest shadow will shut pump off in solar mode. Battery back up is better than antiscipated.

disappointment
I ordered this because my pump for about 3 years now, stopped working....I installed the new one and the solar pump did not work ie it only worked on battery and today it wouldn't even told that...very disappointed and will return this week

Easy replacement kit
I enjoy my solar water fountain each year but left the solar panel back exposed in a rain storm. So glad I found a replacement kit!

Customer service
This kit only last one season. Then the batterie’s exploded. And the last one I bought had a broken tube connector on the pump. Still no answers from customer service. So I bought a different brand and so far is works well

Pain in the hindend .
This is an ok item but you have to physically turn it to battery from solar . Kind of a pain in the hindend.
