HR1300B Black Pit Crew Bar Chair

Very cool chair! It's perfect for my garage. Just the right height (adjustable) and easy to get in and out of. I did have to pull off and re-attach the gear-shift indicator (it's a good quality sticker) since it was upside-down after attaching the knob to the chair. Each part of the chair is really detailed. Good quality stitching, soft fabric, fairly realistic spring and steering wheel. The chair is pneumatic, like a typical office chair, and the spring is just for show (it's plastic). The steering wheel is pretty sturdy for your feet. It's comfortable and gets lots of compliments from the neighbors. Can't ask for more. Perfect chair for the gearhead.

This is a must have for a man cave, and is definitely a good deal for this furniture. (I have very little "cushioning" in my lower area so hard chairs are a problem for me.>Good deal for the price! (Shipping will run you a lot without Prime) (Mine was Prime)Cons:>There is a "seating" time on the furniture to when it is ready for full duty. Like a warm up period. I discovered that the center shaft mates with the bottom cone design by just sitting in a hole. For the first couple of times you sit on the stool it is pretty scary, but after about 5 to 10 sits on a level surface the wobble goes away.>I would recommend a few tack welds to this if you have the means, and it will definitely make it feel more solid.>Chrome was a bit dirty in some places (on threads, but not where it would show at all.)Other:>A few things are misleading by the picture like the "spring" that goes between the chair and the "wheel," It is purely ascetic and does not function as a spring. It is also plastic. I wonder if you replaced it with a real spring if it would aid in the strength of the chair. When you sit, it does put pressure on it, and like any office chair it drops and then recoils a bit, but if you put a real car sprint there I just wonder. I will update if I try it!>Can't tell yet if the chair will hold up to workshop use, but from what I can tell, oiling the leather will make a huge difference, even if this isn't real leather.

I really love the product! Shipping was as expected, box was a little damaged but the product was packaged nicely so everything looks great. You can make the lever left or right handed depending on how you install the seat. I was able to put them together with minimal effort EXCEPT if you don't have a lot of arm strength you will want some help because there is a cap on the rod that manuvers the hydrolics that is difficult to get off. I am a 25 yr old female and was able to get the cap off after some struggling. Other than that set up took 20 minutes, and the stools are pretty light. Just keep in mind you are paying more for the design versus the quality, as the hydrolics could be smoother, but it is still great and worth the money.

The quality of the seat material is great. I was super pleased with the seat stitching as well. The whole look of the stool is awesome and it is very comfortable. Worth the money all day long.

I'm not a huge person, but I don't think this chair was designed for a woman. That being said, I kept it because I'm into cars, and it's so "cool" looking in my game room. Not hard to assemble. Reasonable quality. It's got a "gear shift" lever, a "steering wheel" base, and seat with enough padding, but the seat shape isn't really comfortable for me. It'd probably fit a small to medium sized man. It's got kind of "bucket seat" shape and form fitting but someone else's form. If you are a large person, then maybe ask for seat measurements before ordering. But if it fits, it's great.

We have 2 of them and one of them as already cracked on the top where the bolts go in and can’t be used anymore

Item was easy to assemble and looks great in the shop. Didn't come two day delivery even though on prime but thankfully I ordered with enough time.
