Excellent small bulb for range hoods and more.
These small bulbs work nicely in Broan range hoods. The dim setting works well with no flickering. These little LED bulbs run cool and there is no danger of melting the hoods bulb cover. They fixed a real problem with these hoods; Recommended incadescent appliance bulbs melted the bulb cover on my hood and the new cover was quite expensive. These cool-operating LED 4-watt bulbs have fixed the problem.I assume they would be good for many types of small bulb use but NOT in ovens or anything similar that gets hot. Oven heat will destroy them.Good replacements for use in refrigerators since they're so much cooler operating than the usual incandescent appliance bulb.

Seem perfect for refrigerator lights.
I purchased these to replace a burned out light in my refrigerator. The cost is almost the same as buying an "appliance" rated bulb at Home Depot, so I figured I'd give these a shot. The light output is comparable to the standard bulb that i removed. There is a good spread on the light, and I don't think that I would be able to tell the difference if I had replaced both lights in the refrigerator. The color temp is slightly cooler (maybe 3500K), but not enough to annoy me.As far as size, they fit perfectly. The light is only on a few minutes a day, so I didn't buy these to save money. I purchased them for their longevity, and hopefully I won't have to change any more refrigerator lights. If I have any premature failures I'll update this post.

Recommended and very nice color.
Highly recommended, this is a great price and works well in our dimmable bathroom lights above our sinks. We use 6, it has great color and dims to very low, which is great for my wife's migraines and brighter for her make-up. I will buy more 40 watt bulbs for other dimmable areas. It dims evenly and is NOT a bluish light. It has ceramics to cool the bulbs. The 60 watt was too bright and would not dim completely. We chose the 40 watt dimmable to keep. I hope this helps.

Dim, Cheaply made - 1 bad bulb
Purchased 2 three packs for a 6 light bathroom fixture. One of the six was bad. Now I have to return 1 box of 3 and buy another so they will match. Very disappointed with Grimaldi. I'll keep a good record as I doubt these will last the 3 year warranty. I should have gone to Lowes....Followup: returned the bad package and purchased another. Now have 6 "working" bulbs. The problem is they are so Dim the bathroom is like a cave now. I wonder if they were the 3W bulbs mislabeled as 5W? I pulled the Grimaldi LED bulbs and put back the original 40W incandescent bulbs. Will try a different brand later.

As described, but awfully expensive
I had a vanity setup that needed 16 bulbs in a horseshoe pattern. Going with 40w equivalents would blind the person in front, so I found these 25w equivalents. They perform well, but the sticker shock has been tough to swallow. But I couldn't find anything else with the same specs for cheaper. The 4000k color is perfect, they dim perfectly, and the light is even. But sure are expensive.

Perfect LED-based replacement for BR20 or A19 soft-light applications.
Like most homes, we have a large assortment of bulbs installed (BR20, BR30, A19, G4, G6, T8, Candelabra, etc). Unfortunately, when converting over to LED, most all replacement bulbs are great at being really bright, but not so great at being dim.For bright-light requirements, I've replaced our BR20 and BR30 recessed lighting with Hyperikon's BR20 LED bulbs. Bathrooms, Laundry Room, Closets, and Kitchen ... all areas where access to bright light is appreciated. With electronic dimmers (Insteon), I can cut these to about 30% output, which is definitely useful, but is still too bright for decorative or soft lighting applications. That's where these Grimaldi's come in. Alcoves, wall up-lights, back lights, pendants, sconces, etc.; perfect spots for these lower-wattage bulbs. At full output, they're brighter than the rated 35W equivalence, but they dim nicely to around 20% output to produce a nice soft glow. Great replacements for BR20's and standard A19 bulbs; I've deployed 24 around the house without a DOA or other failure so far (some running 24/7).

Great bulb, not as warm as I'd like personally
The bulbs themselves are fantastic, they're bright, small, and save a ton on energy. But I think they use the term "soft white" a little too loose in my personal opinion. I wanted a 2700k lightbulb to match the others in my house and it does not. Don't let that sway you to not buy these bulbs, but just know that they are a little more on the white side than a standard incandescent/2700k LED.

Excellent product, excellent customer service.
I purchased this three pack of bulbs in March. I particularly wanted bulbs for a few locations around my house that are left on 24 hours a day, so I wanted a low wattage equivalent bulb which would not use much electricity. These bulbs are perfect for the job. I put the first bulb over my kitchen sink where it's been operating for about 1500 hours. The second bulb has been in my fridge where it replaced a standard incandescent and has only served about an hour or two but still reliable.I purchased the 2700K color temperature bulbs which are very much equivalent to what I'd call a soft white incandescent. In fact, visitors and friends are surprised to find this is an LED bulb, so similar is the light to that of an incandescent. The third bulb was to go in my bathroom as a night light, but when I installed it, I found that it was defective and was only putting out about 1/4 the expected light. I wrote to Mansa Electrical LLC, and explained the problem. They were easy to talk to, and even though two months had passed since I purchased the bulb they instantly replaced the defective bulb at no cost to me. I wish every company understood customer service as well as Mansa. I have already placed an order for more bulbs from them as they are a terrific product and it's good to know the company stands behind their product.
