Stay Away From Microfiber
In addition to quick drying they also catch every fiber, hair and piece of debris that comes in contact with them. I can't even wash them with other items because they'll collect every errant fiber that comes off other items in the wash. I don't know why I thought the microfiber/cotton blend would be better than regular microfiber. I use those to dry off my car because the microfiber is soft and cotton will leave scratches behind. This is not an issue in the kitchen, so there is no reason to have to deal with the pitfalls of microfiber. Just go with regular cotton wash clothes.

Already relegated to the rag bin
I got matching towels and washcloths. I looked forward to the "microfiber" feature of these towels and washcloths. But these, man, drove me nuts. The fabric caught on every little rough spot in my hands. Not sure what was going on, but they felt like they were full of "micro hooks". And then, in just ordinary use, these white cloths picked up stains, and my wife complained that they looked ugly within days. So, into the bin of polishing, dusting, and mopping rags. One star. See below. Most people start out reviews from one of two positions. About 5% of all reviews are a one star because the product they received was poor quality, or they did not get it all and the consumer is just mad. I don’t believe 5% of every product made goes out useless, but everyone who gets a bad unit will tell you.About 90% of reviewers start at 5 stars, and if the reviewer did not find anything heinous about the product, that’s what they give. To 90% of people, 5 stars means, “it was just ok.”From this day forward, my reviews start from the middle. Three stars: the product met my expectations. If I give it four stars, the product exceeded my expectations for quality, value, or performance. In case of five stars, the got itself out of the box itself and walked across the water. If I give a product two stars, it failed to meet my expectations in some way. Anything deserving the ignominious one star review either went back to the vendor or in the dumpster.

Works nicely on Stainless Appliances
Overall happy with these. I was looking for dish cloths to clean my stainless appliances without having go behind and dry to prevent streaks. In particular my range that is used multiple times a day and the above microwave. They do clean my stainless much better without having to go behind and dry, even on glass! I have a dishwasher and do not do a lot of hand washing, but have experienced food particles getting caught in the microfibers that others have complained about. Not enough of a deterrent for me to switch back, but maybe I'd consider washing dishes with a regular cotton dish cloth and cleaning counters and appliances with these. Once washed in my washing machine these particles seem to get cleaned out.So they have taken over my regular cotton dish cloths. However they do stain about the same as regular cotton dish cloths. I have used in my washing machine bleach, oxiclean, vinegar to remove just regular stains and not much luck. They aren't any worse than my cotton but was hoping since they had more poly that they'd clean up better. I bought a 2nd pack a couple of months later, I'm overall happy with them. Hope this review was helpful.

Best dishcloths I've found!
Love, Love, LOVE these dishcloths! I've searched high and low for new dishclothes. They are SO hard to find. I guess most people don't use them?? I've owned several sets of other cloths (recently) that have fallen apart with just a couple of uses. These are fantastic! They soak up water and spills well...and wash dishes very well, too. I use my kitchen all day, everyday. I've had these for about a month...just ordered more.

Collect lint and bits in the washing machine.
They look good new, and work ok, but at the first wash they came out with lint and small bits of things deeply imbedded in the cloth. We are a small farm, there will always be small bits of straw and such in the wash, can't be helped. I'm using these to catch those in the wash and keep it out of the dryer, and for that purpose, they work well. Cleaning? Dishes? Not so much.

Great kitchen towels - even the males in your household will approve!
Best kitchen towels in recent memory! I‘ve even converted my husband from the ones he used to like to these. We‘ll be ordering more soon because they are so good, and I want to make sure to get them while they‘re still available on Amazon. They are absorbent and do dry quickly, no false advertising. A decent variety of colors is offered. They do pill a tad, but not enough to bother me since they‘re kitchen towels, after all.

These did look nice fresh out of the package
These did look nice fresh out of the package, but after washing them with a load of regular towels before the 1st use, they came out of the dryer full of lint. Very fine lint embedded in the material so it wasn't like a little static cling it was securely attached. I cannot stand linty items especially if I am going to be washing anything and everything in my cooking area. Although they are very soft, running your hand over them after laundering made if feel as if you had severely dried chapped hands that seemed to scruff over the material. I will stick with a good old fashion 100% cotton terry cloth from now on. These went directly into the garage rag bin, so I can get some use out of them.

Dishcloths had a distinct petroleum odor.
Shipping was great, package sealed and product is what I was looking for. However, after two washings in light detergent and cold water, the strong odor of petroleum was still present. Wonder what process was used to leave this residue behind?I will use the ones I bought, but will look elsewhere for more.
