Catit Senses 2.0 Super Circuit Interactive Cat Toy - 12-Piece

My one-year-old kitty is obsessed with this toy! It kept him entertained for a solid 30 minutes before he finally crashed for a nap. I definitely recommend it! It's super easy to snap together and take apart, so you can make all sorts of tracks—a circle or a long line, thanks to the edge pieces. Seriously keeps my kitty busy and happy. The ball that comes with it is a bit noisy on the track, but it's simple to swap in a quieter one if you need to. (We sometimes use a pink ball at night to keep things a little quieter but still fun—though it's not included with the toy.) Honestly, it's not a big deal at all, and my kitty loves it no matter which ball we use! :)

Well the jury's still out on the both cats' approval, but for the few minutes one of them played with it, he really liked it! Also, the most exciting thing for me was that his fat paws fit in the holes, even when he jammed them in there quickly. The cat in my picture is the one who did the paw test. And as he is showing, it's great to lounge on after play time ends haha Also, per another reviewers suggestion, I bought some ping pong balls to use in it instead of the original ball. These things fit perfect and move so easily through the tube tracks, they can also be squished in the openings so you don't have to detach anything to insert them. Also, I have some other ball toys that have the bell inside, or little rattle balls, these fit just as easily. The reasoning behind the alternative balls is because I wanted to be sure the cats could move the balls easily with their fat paws. I knew they might not be able to create as much momentum if their paws had trouble accessing the tracks. Even though their paws fit, I'm still glad I bought them, because they go really far, even if they're just brushed on one of the outside tube holes. This is a quality product, and fits together easily. No assembly instructions are included, but it's totally manageable. If you can use Legos, you can put this together. If you can't figure out Legos, you shouldn't own a cat. The tracks are sturdy enough to be taken apart a few times, because I needed to do this while setting it up for the shape I wanted, and mine was used, and it still locked together tightly. I would recommend laying out the pieces in the shape you want first, then assembling it. I was so darn excited I just started throwing pieces together and had to re-do some sections a couple times. I would definitely buy this again, it's awesome, and at this point, I think I'm more impressed with it than the cats lol!

Very easy to assemble once you figure out the tabs, difficult to take the green bits off once you put them on, though. Works best if you get rid of the end caps and just make it a circle, that way the ball can loop around if they smack it really hard. My cat /loves/ this toy. It's his favorite thing and he'll play with it for hours. He was initially afraid of it, but once I took the bell out of the ball and showed him how it worked, he was hooked, and especially likes it if you flick the ball back at him. He's also learned how to be lazy with it too, so when he's tired of running around and pouncing on it, he just lays on it and yanks the track toward him until he can reach the ball to hit it again. The only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is that someone decided that the ball needed holes in it that are big enough to fit claws, and my boy can easily wrench it out of the gaps in the track that are barely small enough to contain the ball, causing it to be easily lost. You can replace it with a pingpong ball, but he likes to chew on those. I'd love it if there was an option for a hard plastic ball just like the one this comes with, but with no holes or bell. That said, I might order another set of tracks to expand the one I have.

We have a set from both the older version of the Catit Circuit, which is blue and white, and the 2.0 version, which is green and white. The pieces of old and new versions are interchangeable so you can combine multiple sets. Other than the color, the only noticeable difference is that the 2.0 circuits have wider openings, so if you have a larger cat, they’ll have an easier time fitting their paws into them. Especially large breeds may not be able to reach into either, but our 15-lb tabby has no problem. This product, like other Catit toys we own, is well-constructed and sturdy. The pieces were a little difficult to snap together and pull apart at first, but I’ve gotten better at it. Even when I forced them a bit, none of the little connector tabs have been broken or damaged. I’ve even accidentally stepped on the track a few times without damaging it. (I have destroyed more cheaply made toys when I stepped on them.) We have the light-up “Fireball” in addition the the balls that come with the circuit sets, and all of them move smoothly through the circuit. Dirt and debris tend the collect inside, but it’s easy to push a moist washcloth or paper towel through the track to clean it. The curved track pieces are designed to fit around other Catit Senses toys. We have the “Food Tree” treat dispenser, and I’ve found that encircling it with 4 curved track pieces helps keep the treats contained when they fall, instead of bouncing away. We’ve had this 8+ months now, and our cats still play with it every day, even though we’ve only rearranged the pieces twice. They become more interested when we hide parts of the track with a blanket or towel, or run it through a cardboard box or cat tunnel. They also love to sleep in the curves, so we’ve laid their blankets down there.

Ok so... my cats love this, especially with the Fire Ball light up ball I bought for it. HOWEVER.... do NOT and I can't stress this enough, do not use it in conjunction with other Catit products. They show it looped around the fountain, the puzzle feeder, the green herb thing, the treat cups etc... don't.. just don't. You've NO idea how much/many pieces of cat food, drops of water, bits of broken food and treats etc go straight into that track and then it is nasty and greasy and a real bear to take apart and clean... multiple times a day. Even free standing, it collects hair, dust and debris like crazy and is NOT user friendly for cleaning. The ball will NOT roll if there is debris like chunks of cat food and treats in it, so be aware that unless you are a neat freak who does not mind disassembly and reassembly on a fairly regular, daily basis, you will not like this. If you are OCD, run fast and far!Using it to loop around different Catit modules is just a disaster waiting to happen. You'll see. Also on a hard floor, this thing in NO WAY stays put and slides everywhere. I have linoleum on my kitchen floor. When I tried to use it with the other modules/products nestled in around it, I ended up with the other pieces scattered all over the floor and this thing sitting catty-whompus every ten minutes. And yes, it is noisy. It's plastic after all. With a plastic (if you have the Fireball like I do) and/or hard ball rolling inside. Seriously advise to place in a room far from your bedroom. Or sleeping young puppies in kennels. -_- So in conclusion, it is fun, and entertaining but not people friendly.

I purchased several Catit sets: first the value bundle, which looks like it contains the older (blue) 1.0 circuit along with the newer (green) interactive feeder and grooming station. I also got a fireball. I then added the the 2.0 super circuit, the 2.0 play circuit. My two kittens love the tracks. They are somewhat interested in the feeder but still too young for it, I think. They completely ignore the grooming station (so far). How big are the openings in the track covers? There is a definite size difference across sets. The blue track covers from the value bundle all have long narrow openings, as do some of the green covers. The other green covers have shorter, wider openings. Unfortunately, I unpacked the two 2.0 sets and immediately mixed them. I’ve compared the counts to the two set descriptions and can’t tell which came with which. Based on the pieces I have it looks like the sets may actually mix them. (Long narrow: 1 straight, 2 elevated curves, 4 level curves; Short wide: 2 straight, 6 level curves). Going solely by the straight pieces, the super circuit has the short wide and the play circuit the long narrow. But going by the elevated curves, the long narrow came in the super circuit. If this is important to you it might be worth checking with Catit. My kittens are very small still and have no problem with either size, but I can imagine that larger cats might be frustrated by the long narrow openings. Do the pieces work together? Yes. I configured the three sets into four tracks, leaving one set of unused ends. I didn’t mix the blue and the green, but I definitely mixed pieces from the two green sets, and the lower track pieces are identical in all three sets. And once I noticed the different sizes in the green track covers, I tried to alternate them in the layouts. Can you take the tracks apart? Yes. I wouldn’t reconfigure them daily or anything like that because the plastic connectors will probably break eventually, but I’ve swapped things around several times. The trick is to flip the track when everything is assembled and then make sure that each connector is seated properly. (This will make sense when you see it.) Taking track covers off is much harder than changing the segment layout. When you put the track covers on, make sure that all four tabs are in their slots before you push down. (Some of the covers snap and others slide.) Can you use two balls in one track? I had the solid green ball that came with both the value bundle and the fireball together before I expanded the tracks, and the cats were kind of meh on it. The fireball is much lighter than the solid one, as is the hollow orange non-fireball that came in the play circuit.

Sadly, this did not work out for my kitties. The construction is good and the way it fits together is nice and it stays secure. In that aspect it is a good product, I liked the quality of it. The problem lies in the design for the fact that the track is nearly 80% covered and my cats get frustrated that they can't get to the ball. I removed many of the green covers so they could actually touch/push/paw at it, but then the ball falls right out of the track. The holes in the covers either need to be much larger or the covers themselves need to be much shorter in length to allow larger spaces between the covers. I'm not sure how a full-grown cat with large paws would be able to play with this (thinking Maine Coon or Ragdoll). My cats are 6-month-old kittens, so they don't have large paws, but they got frustrated very quickly because the really couldn't access the ball. I even tried the separate "Fireball" that CatIt makes that flashes. They really liked that, but again, couldn't get to the ball so they just walked away and played with their Bergan Catnip Hurricane Cat Toy instead. That one is much more open and they can get to the ball from any position/direction, and the balls do not fall out of the track. I would consider this product again if they did a major redesign on the covers to allow better access to the ball or made a version that was more open with a tapered track to prevent the ball from just falling off the track.

😻My cats absolutely love this toy😻 Elvira and Midnight played with it until they were exhausted. See the picture of little Midnight sleeping on the racetrack LOL. I also included a video clip. I wish I started recording before the two kittens wore themselves out. There are many different ways to put this together so you can truly customize it for your cat's desires or just to mix things up a little bit. Fantastic interactive toy for a kitten of 5 months and 10 months! Best tip for us was changing the course layout 2-4 weeks and we made sure we played with this by flicking the ball to our pets and interacting with them that way, great bonding activity and they play with it by themselves too. So all round it’s a great buy, recommended product for build quality, and versatility esp this one the longer version was best for us and our budget.

After more then 6 months my cats still play with it from time to time. My cats are able to remove the ball from the track.
