Excellent deal. Well, first off, let me state that I'm really happy with this sword. It's grip is comfortable, though I'd recommend tying and/or clipping the wrist strap at the end as it seems to untie itself rather quickly and just gets longer and longer. I personally chose to tie around the handle, but it's up to you. I was expecting a sword this length, but I recommend that you think of this as a short sword, and see the length on a ruler or the like. So now, after my babbling, here's the "Pros and Cons" Pros: 6 - Full Tang, just as said. - Very cool design. - Nice weight, but the COM (Center of Mass) is above the ricasso, not right by the handle. Of course, this can make sense for those users wishing to gain extra torque in their hacks and slices. - Extraordinarily sharp tip. Very good for stabbing, though I have not performed any backyard slicing tests. - Ok, this is one good thing about the sheath: Velcro clasp for the handle. This is perfect for those not used to back-slung mounting of a sword. It's easy to undo yet keeps the sword in place. - Comfortable handle. It may not be the MOST stylish handle, but it's nice and comfortable. Of course, test for the stability of the cord before going wild swinging it around... Cons: 2 - Sheath is floppy. This makes re-sheathing on the back quite the circus act unless using both hands. Of course, you can try affixing a black spray-paint plank of wood (Very thin) if needed. - If not put in correctly, the sword catches on the sheath and has potential to stab straight through. So, as you can see, the cons simply have to do with the sheath. And further, the pros far outweigh the cons. I'm really happy with my purchase, and would certainly recommend this to someone looking to spice up their sword collection for a good price. Good luck with your quest for a greater blade!

First off, I'm not sure why everyone is talking about hitting tree's with this. The only reason to hit a tree with a sword is for conditioning of your palms and getting your wrists accustomed to the shock factor. Even that would only last a short time. Anyway the reason this PRODUCT is a five is because it is worth the amount. (It would be much more accurate to call it a short sword, the product description clears states that it is only just over two feet long.) Obviously it doesn't compare to handmade katanas, but few "swords" under twenty dollars outlast anything other than sitting on a wall. Hence the higher rating. Yes, the sheath is not well made. The tip is actually quite sharp and will tear holes in it. No, it is not "razor sharp". People need to realize that all generic factory swords come with a knife style edge. That's not how a sword edge was designed to be. Long story short; YOU WILL NEVER FIND A SWORD THAT IS "RAZOR SHARP" THAT ISN'T TRADITIONALLY HANDMADE AND SHARPENED. And those cost hundreds at the very cheapest. Someone stated it's too thin or light to do any damage in a fight and you would be better off with a pocket knife or your fists or some such nonsense. This is ridiculous American rationalized bull. Many Chinese swords are thiner, lighter and more flexible than this product. If that says nothing to you, I've proved my point. This is obviously not a short sword made for sword snobs, but it's totally acceptable for the price and bloody rad for fantasy fanatics. The end.

I spend hours on my computer looking at reviews for all different types of swords; this was my initial choice, but then I decided against it. After going back and forth between all varieties of blades, my final choice was this Secret Agent Tactical Ninja Sword. Shopping for Christmas, just trying to find something cool to give my best friend, I kept going back to this sword. Reading reviews after review on it, I decided "Hey, $17? whats the hurt". It comes in the mail via USPS and admittedly the tape job was a little over done, but the box it's self was in good condition. Next, I take the sword out and immediately see this 'wow-factor'. This is hands down the best X-Mas gift I have ever given for so cheap. The actual blade, was in good condition. Brand new. At first I couldn't understand why people said the sheath is so flimsy because it looks rather nice, but yes, the sword is so sharp that it pokes through the end. Overall, my friend was beyond satisfied. I bring it out to him, and he instantly gets a HUGE smile and the first thing he says is "Oh my God, how much did this cost?". Yes, it has the appeal of an expensive sword. He has used it quite a lot since; it has yet to be damaged at all and or loose its coolness.

I bought this just to have it, and ive always been into weapons and such, so i decided that id delve into the world of fantasy swords! This was a big surprise for me! Pros: The sword is lighter than expected, and isnt hilt heavy, its actually balanced perfectly! Came sharpened and the serrated edges were sharp as well Black paint doesnt come off easily Very sturdy, doesnt flex too much Cordage can be rewound Cons: The sheath is absolute crap...i can guarantee you this. When you put the sword in, the tip tends to catch the inside stitching of the sheath causing it to tear. Not really quality but it doesnt matter. Whyd you ever want to cover it up anyways! Could use a little bit more sharpening Tightening of the cordage could be a good thing also Overall: This is a great product and at this price its a great buy as well! Nothing much like it, its cheap enough, yet sturdy enough to be used as a wall mount or for the occasional real life fruit ninja sessions you have with your friends. Either way id recommend youd buy it!

I ordered this product with almost zero expectations, so I wasn't disappointed with it. I got here in a timely manner and the sword was all right. I got it as filler for my table at the flea market. I needed some lower end stuff that looked cool for impulse purchasers. It seems sturdy, and the blade was oiled so that was good. there were no nicks or anything like that. It was not very sharp, but that could be fixed with some patience and a sharpener. the sheath for the blade stinks though. when the package got here the tip of the blade had ripped through the sheath and the box. (The postman was quick to point this out) The wrap around the handle looks cool, but I went ahead and removed it and rewrapped it with some 550 paracord. This added some color and looked a bit better while adding a bit of useful cordage to it. It seemed to do the trick. I turned around the very next weekend and sold it for a bit of a profit. All in all its not my cup of tea as it really serves no real life purpose for me, but the late teens, early twenties crowd eat it up. I think I will order a couple more and do the same with them. I would recommend taking some plastic from a milk jug and folding it in half and placing it in the bottom of the sheath so the tip doesn't poke through and stab someone in the leg or back.

I got this sword as an addition to my collection. For the price, I wasn't expecting anything other than a display piece. I was pretty surprised when I examined the blade and found that it will take sharpening. The handle wrap isn't the best, but those are easily replaced. The sheath that comes with the sword is perfect for it, the blade will not stab through the sides unless you're forcing it in. I only have two cons for this sword: 1. The handle wrap has about two feet of extra cord on the back end. Having had weapons training, I know that this is a problem for anyone who is just learning. My suggestion is to cut off the extra and tie it closer to the handle. 2. The balance is off. (this is NOT a defect. Sword balance depends on the weilder.) The balance will be right for a lot of people. My ideal balance has the centerpoint just above the hilt. Overall: an amazing product for the price. I would pay double what I did. Update: the serrated middle is sharp. Sharp enough to cut you. Be careful!

This sword came exactly as described. It's strong, clean, sharp, and in great condition. The nylon rope around the handle is nice and tight; it doesn't move around in my hands. It fits nicely into the sheath, and there is a security strap that velcros around the handle. While this is a great sword, it's not very practical for use. It's definitely a show piece. My only complaint is the tip protector broke during shipping. I contacted the seller for another but they said the tip protectors are not sold separately, they just put one on to protect the sword during shipping, which is fine because it certainly did its' job. However, I'm not going to put the sword in the sheath until I find a proper tip protector because I feel that the tip will poke through the sheath creating a hole. All in all, great sword for the money.

I'm happy to say I found it in the Secret Agent Tactical Ninja Sword! It's very sharp, very pointy, and packs enough weight to decapitate the toughest living dead. Whether the zombies you have to face are World War Z sprinters or shuffling hoards of the Walking Dead, this is the kind of "outside the box" undead dispatcher that will make them think twice before they come for YOUR brains! It doesn't shoot as far as a gun, but you'll never have to reload. Doubles as a great garden tool and makes for an interesting conversation piece too! Amaze your friends and be the talk of the neighborhood with this extremely affordable and deadly looking sword. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Overall good quality 440 stainless steel, feels solid, paracord over the handle could be wrapped tighter, the ground on my edge was angled to the left and not very sharp, serrations are thick enough to not worry about them breaking, but again needs sharpening, good weight and balance however.
