Hosiery Mate® No Rinse Wash, 16 oz Bottle

I lived in the US for many years and always used this product to wash my hosiery. Unfortunately it is not available in the UK so I ordered and shipped to a friend who forwarded it on to me. It is excellent as there is no rinsing, smells pleasant, removes stains and does increase the life of one's hosiery. It is eco friendly and gentle. Highly recommended.

Hoseiry Mate is excellent for hand-washing nylons or lingerie. It has a mildly pleasant smell (not perfumed), and although it says you don't have to rinse it out, I always do so. I have used it for years to wash out nylons but since fewer people wear pantyhose these days, most department stores have stopped stocking it. If you do wear pantyhose, this is an excellent wash option. It really does prolong the wear of your pantyhose, and seems to keep them from running as easily. A bottle lasts me quite a while. I've had no problems ordering it through Amazon. It arrived quickly and in good shape.

Best stuff ever! Not only do I wash my hose and tights in these but also leggings that are snaggable and some of my daughter's sweaters that are really thin and fine knit materials. This product puts a layer of something into and on the fabric that makes it resist damage and protects it on the actual fiber so it's still very soft and moves the way the fabric was meant to but is more resistant to damage. There are several girls in my 4th graders class with the same expensive sweater from a popular store and ALL of them have gotten holes and snags and the parents have asked me how my child's has survived. Hosiery Mate is the secret!! Well worth the price and smells great. Follow the instructions and don't rinse after use! Just squeeze dry and hang or lay flat!

I'm very pleased with this no-rinse solution to cycling through three pairs of support stockings. Hand washing is quick and easy, and my stockings dry completely overnight. They have kept their shape with this cleaner, and don't slide down as they did after their first wash with regular laundry detergent. I will absolutely continue using this product.

I bought this to hand wash my medical grade thigh high and knee high hose. I found this very easy to use and like that it is a no rinse product. I love that it keeps the hose elastic like new, especially the thigh high bands and dots that keep them up! After having to spend so much money on these hose, you certainly want to take the best care of them that you can, so be sure you wash them with the proper detergent. My doctors office sells the hose but had no idea about this product so I showed it to them in hopes they would tell other patients about it.

Who would have thought that a product like this would have been manufactured for hosiery. This rinse, not only cleans but (for some reason) your hose lasts much longer than the average pair. I REALLY like it. The scent is wonderful and the price is so worth the outcome. I my mind it is a must for gals who still wear hosiery.
