This Is Sergio Franchi

I heartly agree with the previous reviewer's comments.I've been lucky enough to own several of Mr. Franchi's albums, and saw him in person in the late 60's. My only complaints, and considering the shortage of his work on disc I shouldn't be picky, are about the sound quality on some of the selections and the lack of some of his definitive work. How could RCA have left off "Someone Like You"? He introduced this Richard Rodgers/Steven Sondheim melody in the Broadway show "Do I Hear A Waltz", and absolutely nailed it. This CD gives us a taste of his vocal range and ability to sing all types of music. A great singer, and a great man, who was taken far too early in his life.

Great music received on time and in described condition. Maybe the greatest voice that too many people have never heard of. Try this album, and you will say, "So, THIS is Sergio Franchi"!

It was a shame that he had passed away when he did. I have some of his recordings but theyare LP records and have not been able to find current recordings of him on CD. His voice is very clear even hisEnglish and his Italian is great. I will be getting in the future other CD recordings by him.

Acoustically, lacking recording. Not his clear voice, but the music/instrumentals are rather muffled. We were home grown with Mr. Franchi's music & it was all beautiful. As kids, we "cut our teeth" on favorites such as "A Man Without Love."

This cd is great. I play it quite often. The songs are very nice.

I bought this record by FRANCHI because he sings MALAFEMMENA and the computer raved about it. BUTI is my favorite singer

A beautiful joy. Best tenor ever.

An oldie but a goodie by an artist that was par excellence and unfortunately died to young. The disc has some of his greatest hits.

I enjoy this CD and Sergio Franchi's great voice.I would recommend this CD to anyone looking to increase their music collection.
