Wood Paw & Bone Decor Folding Pet Gate in Black

This gate looks much nicer than the baby gates I had around the house. It is heavy and feels sturdy. It is very short, but my dogs never challenged gates so that isn't a problem for me. My cat jumps over it easily and could fit through the slats as a kitten but we were never trying to contain her in certain rooms. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has big dogs or dogs who jump or try to get through gates, this will be a joke to them. Also it is not very wide and can only stand up when the sides are turned in a bit, again it works for me because I have it in small doorways. I gave it 4 stars because one of the hinges has come loose at the top, I've had it for maybe 5 months and it has popped free simply from moving it open and closed. It still works fine and is fixable, I would just like for it to be as sturdy as it feels.

The dog gate works well for keeping our two dogs off the stairs. We put it on the first ledge (2 stairs up) and then we just open one side to get through. I wish it were a tad bit taller but it works for my two beagles who are a bit older. A younger dog might be able to jump over it or push it over.

We love this for our stairs. We didn't have a two story before. My husband didn't want carpeted stairs, and I didn't want my Bichón to get hurt. This gate is perfect and we didn't have to put a gate up and attach it. Jasper is looking at the door asking where that guy in the brown truck went and why he left what came in the box LOL

Shipping is fast and was packaged well. This is made of good quality material. It is a bit heavy and well suited for small dogs. Color is dark chocolate almost black with a nice gloss. The paw decor is a very nice addition.

Small fence. Large dog or cat could get over no problem. Screws apart easily. Have to keep it in one position or the screws fall out.
