Expected more for the price
For the price (and being unfinished), I was expecting more than I received - for $10 or $15, maybe worth it but not $30. The craftsmanship is so-so with gaps in the seams and obvious nail holes on the sides, the front is acrylic (as mentioned way down in the product description), and the wood itself seems rather lightweight/cheap. I think it's telling that the manufacturer can't even tell its customers what type of wood is used in the Q&A above. I decided keep it because it hasn't been easy to find something that would work for my current project, but I probably wouldn't have bought this if I'd read a review like this before purchasing.

Great purchase
I used this as a shadow box for all the tickets, programs, pictures, and memories we’ve made over the years. I used pearl pins to arrange everything. My husband loves it.

This product is of good quality. My only complaint is that with it being an unfinished product it would be nice if the glass was easily removed to make painting etc.. easier. Otherwise my wife loves what I made for her birthday with it.

Collection Display.
Looks great. Added a piece of cork board in the shadowbox to display my collection of baseball pins.

Okay but not worth price tag
Affordable however it is not worth the price. Made very cheap, foam poster board backing, metal bendable closers, light weight wood held together with L shaped metal, plastic front. Great for light weight project but price vs materials quality questionable

Be careful of the tape, It ripped a little bit of the backing
