When I purchased this product, I was not going at all. I'm not sure of the cause but it was accompanied by a very awful taste in my mouth and feeling nauseous everytime I ate anything. After a few days of using this product, I began to show progress to the point now of going 2xs per day. I would recommend Best Probiotics to everyone in need.

I'll not give a lecture on how and why probiotics work as so many reviews do as that tells you zippo about this probiotic and that is a pet peeve of mine.The bottle arrived quickly and was sealed. Inside are pressed white tablets quite a bit larger than the probiotic we normally take. I had no issue swallowing them but my husband did and our younger daughters couldn't swallow them at all. The dogs picked them out of their food and we had to hide them in peanut butter. I was disappointed to realize that it doesn't have as many strains or as many billions present as some other brands which means it should work, but not as well as if it had more of both items. Upon testing it does indeed work, but I still have some digestive issues that normally go away when I am regularly taking my probiotics. So for that it gets an ok rating- also because it has some fillers in the ingredient list despite being listed as all natural. A natural anti-clumping agent and the probiotics are all that is necessary. However it is still far better than no probiotic at all!!I was given a discount on this product in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Since i received this product, my immune system has gotten stronger, and my digestion has greatly improved. My sinuses also feel clearer, and I can breathe better.

You can determine the "vitality" of your acidophilus product with a simple kitchen “experiment.” Start by pouring one cup of soy milk (cow’s milk will also work) into each of two small bowls and then stirring in one teaspoon of acidophilus powder (or the contents of 4-6 “Vegicaps”) into one of the bowls. Allow both bowls to sit out at room temperature overnight. When you examine the bowls in the morning, the milky contents should not look the same. Earth Medica's probiotic is a really great product. I'm not going to go into crazy detail or act like I'm a doctor or dietician like some of the reviews I read did, but honestly this is a great product as probiotics go. I did not run any "test" on the capsules or anything but I did read the ingredients and do some pretty basic research on probiotics. I have taken probiotics for years because I am lactose intolerant and have other stomach issues so I have tried my fare share of products. I have a few basic things I look for in probiotics: ingredients, cost, how it makes my stomach feel, and after taste. I do not want to pay an arm and leg for something I am not sure works or I will hate. I want the product to have the ingredients that my doctor recommend. I want it to help with bloating, gas, and diarrhea without any other issues. A big one for me is I do not want it to leave a god awful taste in my mouth. This product met all my criteria so I'm giving it 5 stars, though I did receive this product for free or at s discounted price in exchange for an honest or unbiased review. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who takes or is looking to take probiotics.
