I needed these to replace the screen assembly on my MacBook Pro. They worked like a charm. However to do what I did, you will also need a T8 torx to remove the hinge screws. This kit does not include that size. Thankfully I had a torx set that had that size in it otherwise I would have had to go get one with my computer half way apart. I would not have been happy at that point. So just be aware, I have a MacBook Pro Retina, late 2013 model and you will need a larger torx in a addition to the T5 in this kit, also, you will not need the philips screw driver at all. My project was replacing the screen assembly.

Great kit. The screwdrivers are a noticeably higher quality than the cheap ones that come with many replacement parts and will last you longer than a single use. They have some weight to them, are made of metal and have rubber grips, and the tips appear to be hardened and possibly made of actual tool steel rather than cast in one piece.I used this kit to repair a 2013 MacBook Pro Retina. Depending on how far you need to get into the laptop, you may need other screwdrivers (there are a few T6/T7 bits if you do a complete disassembly on this model). This kit includes a PH000 (Phillips 1.5mm), a T5 Torx (6-point) and P5 Pentalobe (1.2mm).

These are nice for what they do, but they break really easily.

Good product, fit the Macbook pro pentalobe head and took them out with ease.. like the fact that it has the others with it too.. great price and good purchase.

It is missing one of the screw drivers used for larger 6 point screws used inside the laptops - otherwise the screw drivers are good quality

I have an older MacBook that was given to me. I like to tinker and needed to open the laptop. Mac and it's proprietary everything includes screws that no one else uses. This necessitated ordering special screw drivers. These and another set that I ordered previously work once. The metal on the screws is tougher than these screwdrivers. The screws bent and deformed the screwdrivers so that they could only be used once. Luckily these weren't very experience but they should be considered fairly disposable unless you have softer screws in your device.

These are great! I have a macbook pro that has the star head screws and I needed to tighten those bad boys up. So. I bought these screw drivers, because, well, just look at them, they're pretty awesome looking! But they also worked great. Easy to twist with the large black head and they fit nicely into the screws. Now the bottom of my macbook isn't going to fall of because of lost screws.
