COMFORT: These sustainable alpaca socks are great for any sport in winter or summer. The aloe-infused Alpaca fiber makes the feel of these socks irresistibly delightful. DURABILITY: Coupled with softness is durability. Alpaca fiber blended with high-quality acrylic, spandex, elastic, and nylon makes for a fitted sock that doesn't budge in a ski boot or a hiking boot. RAPID DRY: These socks can be washed as usual in cold water in the washing machine and tumble dried low heat or air-dried. Because of the nature of the Alpaca fiber, it dries incredibly fast. A few minutes in the sunshine or an hour or two on the drying rack will dry these socks; this makes these an excellent choice for fishing, hiking, and hunting.

Warm, comfortable and dry
As an avid Minnesota outdoorsman, I try to keep current on available products to keep you dry and warm in some of the United States’ most extreme fall and winter weather conditions. As I’ve grown older, it seems more difficult to keep feet warm during outdoor experiences. An acquaintance recommended that I try Alpaca fiber socks by AndeanArt available through Amazon. The concept sounded interesting with alpaca hair apparently having insulting air “pockets” (chambers) embedded in the hair column so I bought a pair. The socks were easy to put on, comfortable to wear and slid smoothly into my boots. I was able to take a long, perspiring walk to the deer stand, then sit for eleven hours on Saturday and five more hours on Sunday with warm, dry feet despite the low temperatures and windy conditions. When your feet are warm, the rest of your body follows. Since I did not see any deer for fifteen hours, I can’t recommend my hunting location, but I can recommend the socks by AndeanArt as their composition WORKS and keeps your feet warm and dry.

These socks are worth darning.
These socks are very warm. There is a fair amount of stretch in them, which makes them comfy. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe and the medium fit perfectly. I bought one pair to check them out, then bought three more pairs.

My new favorite socks
These are socks I look forward to putting on. Soft and cuddly, and they shed less than most alpaca socks.I wear size 8 shoes, and the small size works for me; stretches out a bit by the end of the day, but draws back up when washed. They won't walk down in even my Muck boots -- a problem I've had with other alpaca socks. A three month old pair is slightly less thick than a new pair I just got, but that's to be expected. They feel so nice on a long hike !

I love these socks
My favorite sock I’ve ever bought. Update after a year of owning two pair of these Alpaca socks I still think these are the best soft sock I’ve ever had. Might not be as warm as my extra thick Smart wool socks But these Feel on your Feet Like Pure Heaven. Will be buying special wool/Alpaca detergent to keep them in good shape. Will only wash in cold water/hand wash & will not put dryer. Will Definitely be buying more for future Use!!!

Comfortable but not warm
These sox were a Christmas gift for my hubby. He works outside and is always getting cold hands and feet. The reviews were all good however they are not warm like they are advertised to be. Today was the first time wearing them and the temps were above freezing about 32 degrees and he was still getting cold feet and toes. I am very disappointed. He did say that they are extremely soft and comfortable to wear but not warm.

Soft & warm., A+
Husband put these on when his feet were already freezing & said they warmed his cold feet in about 10 mins & kept them warm the whole time he was outside in the low digits. He also said they are very soft & comfortable & is very glad I got them for him :) They seem like they will hold up awhile but time will tell, I do turn them inside out & wash them in cold water on delicate cycle., no fabric softener & let air dry but if you like warm soft socks I definetly think you'd like these as much as my husband does

I was going try them while doing some hunting on ...
I was going try them while doing some hunting on long sits on cold weather. I didn't have a chance to try them they seem to be ok while I use them at work. But of course regular socks work while constantly moving. I would give them a 4 star for now since I didn't get to use them on hunting season.

Extremely Comfortable
This product is exceptionally soft and comfortable and great for hiking. They have a great deal of padding and I use them with hiking boots to keep my feet comfortable on 7 mike hikes. My only complaint, if it is a complaint, is the cost is not inexpensive for a good pair of socks. However, I think at least 1 pair in your sock collection is a must if you do outdoor activity.
