Ok, I love this speaker! I have a few different bluetooth ones, and I think that this one has the best sound quality that I have found! The speaker is simple to set up. You press the power button and it will turn on and try to pair. Make sure your bluetooth is on for your phone or for the device you are trying to connect it to. When I tried connecting it to my Kindle, it required a password. The password is "0000". Once connected it plays music great! You can adjust the volume on the device, and it gets pretty loud. You can play/pause (by pressing the phone button, or flip from track to track.Here is the strange thing though. When you are trying to skip from one track to another, you have to press the "down" volume button to move backward, and the "up" volume to move forward, which is backwards from what you think it would be because of the placement of the buttons. You would think if you push the button to the left it would go backwards, and the button on the right would skip forwards. But it's the opposite. Took me a while to get the hang of that. For volume, just hold the volume buttons down and it will increase or decrease. The speaker also has an input for charging, an AUX IN if you don't have bluetooth and a reset button. I was looking for a small speaker to take with me and no worry about it getting water damaged or broken in the outdoors. I decided to try the Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker by SoundMy. What I like about these speakers is that they are dust and shock proof, which serves my needs to have the speakers in the out doors. With regards to the water proofing this speaker is rated as an IPX5 device. IPX5 means that the speaker can be splashed on, rained on but it is not meant to be submerged in water. The sound quality for a 3 Watt speaker sounds pretty good.
