Andre Walker Hair - The Gold System Experience Kit

I have been on the natural hair products journey for 12 years. I even tried the "old" Andre Walker hair products. Well, look no more natural sisters!!!! I have gotten more positive comments on my hair in the last 2 weeks than I have in 12 years! I have been blowing my hair straight for 10 months because my new husband likes straight hair. Well, we all know that means losing your curl pattern. Not so with these products...I washed and conditioned and when I got out of the shower my curls had returned. I have only seen waves since August. I must admit I had mixed emotions, I was happy and scared. Would I be able to get the sleek straight look that hubby loves? Yes, yes, yes!!!!! My hair was silky, shiny and bone straight. I looked at my hair and said D@&$ my hair looks as good as Oprah's!!! I am in the middle of week two (I usually can only go one week without shampooing) and my hair still looks great! Hubby asked me yesterday if I had washed my hair the night before. What a relief to know that I can switch from straight to curly now instead of having to cut my hair to start all over to get my curls back.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. ESPECIALLY THE ONE FOR NATURAL "BEAUTIFUL KINKS" CURLS. I HAD A HARD TIME FINDING A PRODUCT THAT WOULD ALLOW MY CURLS TO KEEP NATURAL WHEN DRY. I HAVE COARSE HAIR AND MY HAIR TENDS TO DRINK ANY FLUID I PUT ON IT, NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT WHEN IT DRIED IT LOOKED LIKE DRY HAY. I BOUGHT THIS SAMPLE AND LOVED IT SOOOO MUCH. I KEPT GETTING COMPLIMENTS ON MY NATURAL CURLS, PEOPLE THOUGHT THAT I HAD GOTTEN A PERM AND COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY WERE MY REAL HAIR. AND WHEN ASKED I'D TELL THEM ABOUT IT AND GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION WHERE TO PURCHASE IT. AND THEN I WENT AND BOUGHT THE BIG SIZES. KEPT THE REST OF THE SAMPLE SIZE FOR TRAVELING. THANK YOU ANDRE WALKER, FINALLY A PRODUCT THAT WORKS FOR ME. I GIVE IT 10 STARS!!!

I couldn't wait to try the Andre Walker Hair Experience Kit. It is all that I thought it would be. The shampoo made my very dry type 3b hair feel clean and conditioned even before following up with the TKO conditioner. The TKO Ultimate Moisture Conditioner left my hair feeling soft, easy to comb and very moisturized. Finally I applied the Beautiful Kinks styler to my kinky coils and it defined each coil and took away the frizz. After it was completely dry I seperated each coil with my fingers. My hair felt soft and moisturized. The next day I lightly spritzed it with water and didn't have to add more product. I found this to be true each day until I shampooed again.Oprah thanks for sharing your FAVORITE THINGS. ANDRE WALKER HAIR EXPERIENCE KIT is now one of my FAVORITE THINGS!

I had really high hopes for this product. I saw a couple of favorable reviews and my hair isn't very picky about shampoos and styling creams. The shampoo was VERY stripping. I use clarifying shampoos regularly, and this one was not moisturizing at all. The conditioner oddly felt like it wasn't actually getting into my hair and was just coating it, like I could feel the slip of the conditioner but my hair felt dry somehow underneath. The Beautiful Kinks had sheen and hold, but again, didn't seem to moisturize my hair at all and mainly just left my hair shiny, dry, and coated. Save your money.

I had high expectations for this product and couldn't wait to use, however, I found it to be one of the absolute worst. My shampoo/conditioner line of choice is WEN but I am willing to try any system that comes with a highly stamped referral. The "gold system" shampoo left my normally easy to manage without the use of a perm African American hair very dry with a strange rough texture - I was concerned but figured the conditioner would surely rescue it. Unfortunately, it was made to feel worse and left a slight burning sensation until I rinsed it completely out. I ended up re-washing my hair twice with WEN in a desperate attempt to bring it back to its natural state. Afterwards, it still seemed much drier and far more course than usual and I now realize it's going to take a few washes to normalize the true texture of my hair. I threw the entire "gold system" in the trash and wasted my time and money. I could not be more disappointed in a product line that came so highly recommended.

I had high hopes that this product would eliminate frizz and increase shine for my kinky-curly biracial hair. Unfortunately, after using the trial-size products three times, I found they left my hair a strange texture--dry, frizzy, and even a little oily, if that's possible. Everyone's hair is so different, and this product just didn't work for mine. I've returned to Shea Moisture, Aussie, and Mixed Chicks products which, while I'd like them to work a little better, have done the best I've found so far to help keep the shape of my curls.

3 stars because the label is gold and it is hard to read the directions on the bottles. Also the letters are small. Even with my glasses on, I struggled to read.

Excited to try a product by Oprah's stylist and based on her 2015 favorite items for the holidays, the only item I managed to try was the TKO ultra moisture conditioner. Unfortunately within 30 minutes I had a burning sensation on my scalp and watery eyes that I attributed to sensitive skin (?) and so I washed my hair to remove the product. I'm not sure if the other products would produce the same reaction, but I could not take that chance since it is several hours later and my eyes and scalp are still recovering. I'm very disappointed but grateful I did not gift the item.

I thinks this irritates my scale with the result of a flaking scalp. Hair did not feel smooth.I felt that this product was in storage for a long time before being sold, just going by the consistency of the product. Won’t be buying again from this seller. Probably won’t ever but again. There are so much better products on the market!
