Pegasus PG6508 – Small Cactus Plastic Model kit, 8-32 mm

This kit builds some nice looking cactus plants and made a,nice addition to the desert landscaping on my model railroad. I did paint them as the plastic was a bit shiny. A dry brush with white oil paint brought out the detail nicely. They would be a great addition to any desert diorama or having table

We used these for a school diorama project. They were adequate for that, but overall pretty low quality. These wouldn't be a good choice for a high detail use or scale modeling application. You could probably repaint and retexture them to make them look nicer but at that point, just buy something more appropriate.

Good models of cactus.

These are wonderful for desert themed wargame battlefields. They'll fit to standard wargame/rpg model scales. I recommend giving them a coat of paint and wash or two though since they're quite shiny. The bases are also a shiny green so paint/base to match your table/army.

I was going to use the item in a fairy garden because the photo of the cactus made them seem like the had the shape and characteristics of the cactus. They are cheap plastic that are nothing like the package.

Product arrived quickly and packaged well. For anyone in need of scale model cacti, this is a wonderful product to consider. Pegasus is one of my favorite manufacturers here in the US the serves the scale model and wargaming hobby markets.

Worked great for WWX, scale was a bit on the small side.Pegasus' 1 1/2-2" Cactus set was more suited for WWX.

Auf der Verpackung sind schöne grosse Kakteen , auch 3 dimenional abgebildet. Nach diesem Bild habe ich mich orientiert. In der Verpackung befinden sich flache Mini Kakteen. Kaum zu erkennen. Mogelpackung und Müll, alles habe ich entsorgt . Nächster Punkt, viel zu teuer, ich ärgere mich sehr.
