Heirloom quality tool, NOT built to break.
You get what you pay for, Rogue long handle tools are the best. I use them rigorously. This smaller tool is built like a brute but, if you want to break ground or move gravel, look at the other Rogue hoes and rakes. This hoe will keep me off my knees with the long 60" handle, for weeding and cutting roots around shrubs.

Great Hoe for Getting Under Shrubs
When I first received this hoe I thought the blade might be too small. However, I used it today to clean debris collected over the winter under my hydrangea shrubs that have many branches low to the ground and the hoe worked really well in getting everything out from under the shrubs. It will also be useful in clearing debris around plants that grow just above the ground. The handle is very sturdy. Unlike some reviews that said the handle was rough and needed sanding, mine was very smooth.I had looked at some cheaper hoes at the hardware store. They would never last like this one will. It is definitely worth the price.

Glad I bought it
Sturdy sharp and durable, I expect this hoe will last me a lifetime. Not a deep blade, but for simple weeding it is a great help

Love Rogue hoes
Wonderful tool for working in the garden. I have used to de-weed two huge areas. Have lots of tree seedlings and roots and vines to cut through and it works great. Have owned Rogue hoes previously and highly recommend them.

Buy it, best hoe made.
Had mine for four years now, most popular hoe in the community garden. Used a file to remove a few nicks, other than that it has been excellent. This American made tool has outlasted any other hoe purchased. If this one ever disappears (doubt it will ever break) I'll buy another one the same day. Was so pleased with the performance I purchased a Prohoe Scuffle Hoe (110S) for use in the community gardens paths and orchard.

Great Quality
Very sturdy. Works great.

Sturdy but did not meet my needs
The blade was very short and did not penetrate very low below the ground. I have very hard soil and thought this would break it up but it did not. I ended up putting the tool away.

Heavy duty hoe, works even in rock hard Georgia ...
Heavy duty hoe, works even in rock hard Georgia red clay. I would have rated a five but the handle is very rough. I have to wear gloves to use the hoe or I get splinters from the handle.
