This model looks very sleek; I love it! Although the display resolution is a bit low, math expressions are still easy to read. Faster and cheaper than its previous GII model, and it can be overclocked up to 10 times with Ftune. Programmable in CASIO Basic, Python and C/C++ via fxSDK and gint!

I bought this as a gift for my partner who’s doing his masters and he finds it really useful. Easy to set up and use.

This calculator is suitable for people wanting to do high-level maths but are needing to use it "out in the field", because it uses an LCD screen, so it uses less power than the Casio fx-cg-50. Unfortunately the LCD screen has a low-resolution, so graphs are not sharp to look at. If you can live with this, then I recommend this calculator. When leaving this review, one option Amazon gave me was to rate the touch screen. I gave it 1 star, because this calculator (and the fx-cg50) does not have a touch screen,.

Excellent product

If you have to get your tablet / computer to access the "online users manual" then you may as well use an app instead. In particular I couldn't find out how add terms a superscripted expression. It would be far easier to use a 1980s BASIC app but hey I can't think of one to recommend. I miss the fx-47G that broke, and this newfangled product fails in some very basic ways. I was expecting so much better.
