Razor holder Mirror

I seldom give reviews, but I love this mirror. I have had it for about 2 years now. Very large. Easy to install. Made of sturdy plastic. Did not fog for several months, but then required rinsing with shampoo to clear up, but that is my experience with all "fogless" mirrors. Light weight. Portable, so I can use it in the shower or out. Hook stays attached to wall securely and does not fall like my previous small mirror. It maintains its shape and does not distort the image. I store my razor on the hooks on the mirror, which is convenient and lets the water drain from the razor so it lasts longer.

I was debating on giving this 4 starts because over time the mirror fogs incredible fast. But this is a great product, easy to set up, and the reflection is great! It hasn't fallen down, nor break

When I first got this mirror, I thought it was perfect: just the right size, easy to install, stayed fog and droplet free... perfect for shaving in the shower! THE BAD. Unfortunately, within 2 or 3 weeks of purchase, the anti-fogging treatment wore off and none of the anti-fogging "tricks" I tried worked: coating with soap, shampoo, saliva, toothpaste... Nope. I even splurged and bought some Rain-X Glass Treatment with great reviews for antifogging. Didn't work at all! What is worse, my wife tried cleaning the mirror and it ended up with scratches all over the surface, due to its soft, plastic materials. At this point, I would have given it a 2 - but I had an idea of how to possibly make it a 5, so I ordered a new one and tried again. THE GOOD. Once the coating wore off of the new mirror, I tried actually following the instructions and... 1. Held the mirror in the hot water stream for a few seconds before returning to its wall mount (which DOES effectively keep the fog off, but not the droplets). 2. I then took the shower squeegee that I use to wipe the glass down after showering and cleared the surface of droplets. The result? A perfectly clear and mist/droplet-free mirror for shaving! I've been doing this for months, now, and love this little mirror. I give it a 4 only because, like most of us, it needs a little extra effort to be a 5. Hope this review is helpful to someone.

Let's start with a brief description, then the pros and cons. This is one of the largest fogless mirrors I could find, and I bought it to speed up my shaving routine by using it in the shower. It seems to be made out of plastic and some sort of reflective foil that's embedded within for durability. There's also a cutout for a handle which allows you to both hang it or hold it. It comes with installation and usage directions that I found to be unexpectedly helpful. It also comes with a surprisingly strong piece of mounting tape for adhering the included metal hook to a wall. I think the metal hanger is aluminum and seems to be die cut and bent to its final shape. I've seen similar if not identical items used in other products as shower razor hangers. Pros: it works as expected. The mounting tape is holding up great after a couple weeks in the shower and it was dead easy to install. I've never had the mirror fog up and I've tried using it with and without the recommended preheat rinse which the directions specify will improve the clarity/fogless aspect. I really like the versatility of being able to hold it or hang it, which adds the ability to use this as a travel mirror if needed. Cons: The hanger has a sharp burr on the edges, I would guess due to the production method. I don't really think this is a huge problem for my day-to-day use but I was extra careful during installation and I could imagine others getting injured without even realizing it. I wish these were sanded down, but it's easy enough to do yourself if it's an issue. Another thing I don't like about the hanger is that it doesn't fit my double-sided safety razor, which is well within the normal size for a razor. I was able to get it to hang but not without it slipping off very easily. The mirror material is also a bit thin but for its shower usage isn't a big deal. For the price, I wish it was a little thicker which would increase its durability for use as a travel mirror. All things told I think this is a decent value. With a few places for improvement, I wish I could give it a four and a half instead of a full five stars, but for sake of it doing its intended job, I'll give it a five.

Bought this nearly a year ago to replace my prior shower mirror. Unlike my old mirror, this one has never once fallen off of the wall. The hanger clip is still firmly stuck to the shower wall right where I originally placed it. The size is generous and flat. The flat is important because the image isn't distorted and because the mirror doesn't stick out where I contact it while showering. It's still as reflective as the day I installed it. If I ever have to replace this then I'd get the exact same one, again. (That could be a long time, as I don't see any reason/indication it would suddenly start to fail.) When I'm ready to shave I run the back of the mirror and then the front under the shower for about 5 seconds which leaves me with a clear, perfectly usable mirror. If I take a long time then I might need to run it under the water one more time. It's no big deal because it hangs securely from the clip, but is still extremely easy to remove and replace. Note: I have naturally soft water and I never do any maintenance/cleaning of this mirror. If you have hard water then you're going to want to dry it after use to avoid mineral deposits ruining the clarity of the mirror over time.

The mirrors worked great for a few weeks without fogging, and we're a grat help for doing my hair in the shower. Unfortunately they didnt last long and after a few weeks they began to fog with a very shower. I tried washing them, using shaving cream and alcohol but nothing helped. I would not purchase these again.

Very great mirror, easy to put up and actually doesn’t fog when i’m in the shower. Very durable, has not fallen down or came undone. Perfect addition when i need to shave!

Loved everything about this. Bought this a few weeks ago and been using it regularly since then. So far so good. Has not fogged up at all. Not even a little bit and I don't even run it in the hot water like they say you're supposed :). Its making shaving so much more efficient now.

The mirror has good a good size and at first it fulfills all its promises. But after my third shower, I have to do the warm water trick in order for it to work. That would be understandable but I have to do it multiple times if I want a fog free mirror during my whole shower. Now, not taking the mirror into consideration, I’d like to advice those who, just like me, had never shaved in the shower and thought it would be soooo much easier than over the sink. It isn’t. This isn’t the products fault but something I wish I had read before.
