It's Always Good to Know Your Pulse Ox Percentage
With a worsening case of COPD, a previous major heart attack, and a double bypass, I wanted to keep track of my oxygen percentage. This Chooseen Pulse Oximeter was inexpensive, but not cheap. When I first got it, I checked it against the reading in my Doctor's office and it gave me the same percentage. It now is an at-home warning system for when I should use my Albuterol inhaler, or if I then head to the ER if my lungs do not respond. At $8.99, it is a great investment in keeping me healthy. On a comic note, when I first started using it, I put it on my right index finger. I started to complain to my daughter that it was difficult to read upside down. I then had the "Aha" moment and put it on my left hand and I can read it perfectly.

Slow to read and inconsistent
So this thing takes quite a long time to register your pulse ox, which means it isn't able to register sudden changes in your pulse ox. Then it will blank out and have issues reading again after coming up with numbers. Sometimes I can't get it to read at all, but my two other pulse oximeters have no issues. When it does read the readings are usually pretty similar to the others, but not always. It's incredibly unreliable at giving readings. I added pictures of this pulse ox vs another that gives fast consistent readings. I took the reading with this one first, then immediately switched to the other Zac Vrate pulse oximeter right after for the comparison pics. There shouldn't be a huge variance.

Great price, good product.
I have had the pulse ox now for more than 3mo. I use it for work as an RT. Compared to the facilities pulse ox it is only a few points below for the HR and SpO2 levels. It does pick up artifact fairly easy but that’s expected since it is so light and small. I love that it is lightweight and easily fits in my pockets. Another thing I love is that it is quick and easy to use. It comes with a necktie and case but I don’t use them. Overall, I would definitely purchase again! This is an honest review and I was not paid.

Doesn't measure up edit Seller goes beyond!
It arrived a day early which was nice. Fits the finger snugly, came with its own batteries. However, it did not work. I followed instructions inside and called the supplier, he was happy to replace. Replacement arrived in 4 days and came with a thank you gift.Unfortunately it doesn't work either. I would NOT recommend. Edit 05/21/2021 I gave this a harsh review at first. The seller made good on his promise to refund money and went out of his way to make sure we had a working unit. Seller is great to work with and I would recommend this to others. Only thing is the battery insertion directions. It is not clear and if inserted as diagram it won't work. In the end I DIDN'T pay for anything.

Works great & it’s light and portable!
Super simple and easy to use & super affordable compared to other brands or anything in the store. Can throw it in my gym bag and it hangs in there so it’s pretty durable which makes it easier to carry around without worrying over it. Extremely helpful for calming nerves and bringing heart and breathing rate back to normal as it makes me just sit and breath calmly and slowly while it returns to normal. Exactly what I needed and very reliable

Inconsistent readings
I'm an Emergency Physician, and purchased a number of these to give to my COVID positive patients who didn't require admission, but who might have needed to monitor their home oxygen levels for possible return to the ER. I found that readings were more accurate when patients placed their finger squarely in the reader and then rested the finger on a flat hard surface (such as a table) for a minute or two to obtain a reading.I was able to get consistent and accurate readings on myself, but I found that my larger patients had inconsistent readings that didn't correlate with the medical-grade pulse oximeters in the emergency department. The oximeters just didn't fit well, even on the pinky fingers. When the pulse oximeter correlated with the ones in the ER, the waveform on the bottom of the reader correlated well with the heart rate. Those with larger fingers had poor fit, poor waveform and any movement altered the reading to unreliable levels. For that reason, I didn't want to send these devices home with my larger patients or patients with any movement disorder or tremor... I felt that they would return secondary to erroneous readings. If the product works, as it did on me and under certain conditions, it reads accurately compared with higher level medical validated equipment.

O2 and Pulse Ez To Use Finger Reader
For the price it is a great device. Very accurate in the readings. Lightweight. Just the string handle is tricky to put in the two little holes. It is a must to have if you want to know what your oxygen levels and ur pulse rate is with out going to the doctors or hospital or guessing. I have COPD and I like to know what my oxygen levels are in between doctor visits. It also helps me know when I need a breathing treatment or not right at the moment.
