I have worn Vionic bedroom slippers for years, and they quit making the wool bedroom slippers, or if they haven’t I have not found them. So I looked around for a similar substitute and found Taos. I wear an 8.5 size regular shoe and I got an 8/8.5 shoe from Taos. It fit beautifully. So, I guess they run true to size. However, if my foot would have been wide, the shoe would be too tight. If you have a very wide foot, this shoe may not be for you. I would order in your regular size shoe, but please note the width detail I just mentioned. The arch is high in the shoe, and that is exactly what I need for my feet not to hurt. I can work all day in a high arch and my feet feel as good as they did when I started. If I do not have an arch, or if the arch is pretty insignificant, my feet will hurt and the longer I wear the small or no arch shoes, the worse it gets. Because of this, I tried a high arch shoe and it has made such a difference and these shoes from Taos are great. One note on the wool…I had a wool Vionic shoe and it lasted for 3 years of wear everyday. Granted I only put 2500 to 4500 steps per day on it, but the wool wore beautifully, and was not hot. I don’t know how these will be because the inside footbed has short fur, so I expect these to be hotter than the others were. These are shoes to wear only in the house and to keep your feet from hurting. You can wear them outside, but I want my floors/carpets to stay clean, therefore I need a pair for just the house. You will not be sorry purchasing these, if you have a narrow/medium width foot, and need a very high arch.

I love the arch support and comfort of these slippers. The wool will keep my toes toasty in the winter. The overall design is cute. I am very happy with my purchase!

I got these after seeing an ad on facebook and falling in love with them. I do not normally buy shoes this expensive but reading the reviews on how supportive they are I just decided to treat myself.I got them mainly to venture out with my dog etc but was so impressed with the arch supports. They give a high arch support but you don't feel like you are standing on a board like some orthotics I've tried. These give such good support that it puts my feet in alignment and my back and everything feels better than normal.Also the way that the shoe is pitched so the heel is a little higher than the toe box, when you walk in these you are not feeling like they are going to fly off your foot. I have bought a lot of clogs that have that problem so you don't feel stable walking with a normal gait. These stay on so I think I'd wear them for more than just running out to get the mail.When I first got them, I liked the support so much that I toyed with keeping them as indoor shoes but I really prefer a softer slipper in the house so I ventured out with them. I would definitely wear these to the store or out to eat and on a walk in the neighborhood but maybe not to go hiking.They are very attractive, and I wear them with a sock. I normally wear a size 9 shoe but sometimes for a sandal or clog I get a smaller size. I think I need the length of the 9 in a gym shoe or other closed shoe but have noticed with other open shoes that I can go down a size. With these I got the size corresponding to a 9 and they fit fine. I think the smaller size would be too small.Also I felt that the color matched what I thought I was getting.I'm happy with these over all and would consider buying more from this brand.Thanks for reading my review

I used to wear Ugg Tasman around the house but my feet would get tingly on the bottom by the end of the day. I bought these because they were so cute and reviews said they offered good support. While this is true and they’re great for what I need - I can run out in them as well as wear as slippers - the only thing I don’t love is the rigidity of the sole, which I guess is to be expected in a clog. I’m looking to buy another pair but can’t justify even the reduced price right now. Soon!

I wear these around my house as slippers. They fit great and have good arch support. They also keep my feet warm. My only complaint is there isn’t much cushion.

Beautiful shoes, I purchased 2 because of the reviews and fir an upcoming trip.However, I was disappointed that not only were they scratchy but also the arch support was not in the right place but was a actually too high and was poking into my arch towards the back of the arch. I like shoes with arch support but this was too much and cutting into my foot. I was really disappointed and unfortunately will be going back. I have a pair of Taos sandals and thought these would be great, unfortunately not.

Very comfortable and attractive. At first they were a bit snug but as expected they have loosened up. Adorable clogs that I wear a lot.

Love the look and comfort of bed and sole but I have neuropathy in both feetand rolled over the sides twice in one day in my home. Not a good choice for me unfortunately.
