Guided Products ReTab 5 Tab Divider Inserts (GDP00008)

I try to live a sustainable, waste-free life and I thought that these plastic free dividers would be perfect for school. I love how heavy duty they are and how they are very simple, however when they arrived, they were just in an envelope and the dividers were folded a little. Although this is not a big deal, it is unfortunate to have damaged dividers starting off the school year.

The photo indicates a chipboard binder with a 5-bank of chipboard tabs. The product I received was ONLY the tabs. If you are purchasing this product because chipboard is a better, more environmentally conscientious product, forget about it. Each 5-bank of tabs is packaged in a plastic zip-lock bag. You are buying a large helping of plastic with your chipboard.

Very disappointing, as the binder is not included as shown in the picture. Partially my fault for not reading more carefully, but the image was so clear I thought I knew what I was getting :( Also, my search was for a BINDER not tabs, so misleading on that fro t too :(

These appear to be made of common cardstock thickness cardboard, and I suspect that they are probably not acid free. The description doesn't say. They also do not haver any reinforcement around the hole punch, so they might not last all that long in something like school use either. Guess I wasted my money since I definitely need acid free and can't think what I might use these for.

I couldn't find these cardboard-like tabs anywhere that matched the cardboard binder I used for my final grad school project. They came wrapped and bubble wrapped in a box. They were not bent, were in perfect condition and exactly what I needed. Exceeded my expectations. Quality is thicker and grainy, just like thin cardboard. I used it for an eco-friendly project. Perfect. Thank you!

These dividers are surprisingly good quality, especially for an all-paper product. They seem like they will last quite a while. Would purchase again for the environmental benefits and recyclability.
