All the shots sizes ordered are accurate in weight, just soft enough to be pinched onto line without damaging it, and correctly cut. I experimented with the smallest (UK size No.8, approximately 0.07 grams); first one out of the tub I tried to pinch onto 20lb. Berkeley Fluorocarbon. Success! Not only was I able to pinch it on, I could also move it up and down the line afterwards, without it falling off. Of course, that small a shot on 0.43mm line is not something I’d ever be likely to do in real fishing, but the fact I could do it (with just an ordinary pair of pliers on a Leatherman Wingman, no Style or Stotts pincers!) speaks volumes for the quality of the shot.

Stays tight and in place on 5X line while casting a fly rod! Your BB shot is a very good product. PS ...I fish all year for trout!

Way to small. There for for fly fishing.

Not sure what's going on with quality control...... I've bought these several times over the years with no issues. Last batch I bought are not making the cut. When I go to squeeze them closed, many of them simply cracked in half. They were too hard / brittle or maybe the cut is too deep..... or both.

Love the size and weight smooth surface and good line lock with minor pressure. Will purchase again
