Exactly what I wanted
I wanted to teach my kids the way I was taught. This little bow was exactly what I was looking for. Good quality, and not to expensive. In my youth, Every two years our extended family would have a family reunion. We have a BIG family, and often hired people to come to the reunion and hold classes or host events for the family members. There was always this little old lady that came, we called her "snowy" because of her white hair, and she was hired to teach us Archery. She professionally taught archery to kids at summer camps, so she always showed up with 6 targets, 12 bows, and dozens or arrows. I went through her class so many times, I felt qualified to teach my own children, so I bought this bow. It is exactly like what she used to teach us with. This bow if perfect for teaching children (12yrs and older) how to use a bow. It is not a re-curve, or a compound bow, but the principles of archery are the same. This bow is perfect for teaching kids about stance, aiming, release, and constancy of technique. It's a simple bow, solid fiberglass with plastic ends and a molded rubber grip. I've seen these bows last for years and years. This one looks to be able to do the same.

Powerful first bow
Bought this bow for my 5 yo son. I had bought bought him a "fancier" starter bow but it really was not as powerful as I was hoping. This one really worked out well for us. Currently shooting it with some of my old 400 spine arrows with feathers. I would not recommend shooting with plastic fetching used on a compound bow since you will be shooting off the shelf. I love that it is ambidextrous since I'm discovering my son is left eye dominant. My son is big for five and is doing well with this bow I do not think he would have been able to use it before he turned 5 and even I enjoy shooting a few arrows through it so I'm sure it will last him a long time.

Great beginners bow!
Got this to teach my 9 year old son, looked for the lowest pull back strength out there an found this bow. It’s been a great first bow for him. He’s probably shot about 100 arrows so far and loves it! I’ve probably shot about 40 arrows on it so far it’s a very accurate bow for not having any kind of sight or anything. But I love basic, less to break and if you can perfect your skill on that. You’ll really upset those guys who dropped $600 on one an never practiced lol.

Cheap Fiberglass Bow
You have to look at this product for what it is. A really cheap fiberglass bow, like the kind you used in Junior High. Its not bad for the price, but you wont be doing any hunting with it.

I ended up giving it to a 9 year old I was showing archery to because she became EXTREMELY good with it in like
I bought this for myself as my first bow. I ended up giving it to a 9 year old I was showing archery to because she became EXTREMELY good with it in like, 2 hours. This bow is easy to use, accurate, and fun. The handle was just uncomfortable since I'm 23, but even then I had some guy shoot one of my bows so far it fell on top of the building quite a bit a way -- and he was barely pulling. It's really powerful, and easy to use for a child. It's also great for someone like me who's petite (5'4") and new to archery. Really good bow for the price.

Perfect for beginners
My daughter recently started archery and this bow has been great for her getting started and learning the basics. She’s 7 and had no issues using this.

Does not come with the extras shown in the mfg. photos
The Amazon page shows photos it says are from the manufacturer that say that it includes a finger tab, two arrows, armguard and paper target. This items comes with none of these things. The mfg. list price for this bow alone is $24.99 so the more than 50% larger price also led me to believe this was the higher price because it was for the kit. But alas, the price is simply MUCH higher than the mfg. list price.
