Would like a longer spoon or shorter bag to make it easier to eat. Every thing else absolutely perfect.

The pasta ones aren't too bad taste wise if you don't mind the Chef Boyardee. Price isn't too bad.

Hands down these are the best for back country camping!

Pizza was the worst! Everything was good.

This is essentially a boil-in-bag solution. Food is fully hydrated. Most tastes like chef boyardee In a can put into a foil pouch. The heating element is essentially a hand warmer. While in generates heat, it does not really transfer well into the food. Package states 3 to 5 minutes but we tried waiting up to 10. Then we could get something somewhat warmed. After 3 days, we pulled out the camping stove and used that instead to heat them. Low quality food. Definitely don’t get the pizza. It was downright awful. See pics. Had to heat it up and home to share the laugh with others. Compared to other freeze dried and/or dehydrated products, this costs more, is heavier, you get less food, the heat element is bulky (expands) after use, doesn’t get as hot, and doesn’t taste as good. Get a lighter meal and bring a stove. I gave it two stars instead of one because the meals were still edible.

The pizza is horrible. Nobody in family was willing to take more than a small bite. The heater worked reasonably well, but did not heat the food enough. Have not tried the other menu items, but I would avoid the pizza at all costs.

I should have read the reviews on this one, seeing a high average tricked me into buying, look at the photo of the pizza, tasted horrible. The heating system doesn't work. Instructions say 3 to 5 min, try 10+ and didn't even heat the food evenly. Portions are also very small, typical adult male will need to eat two for a full meal.

We bought these meals for hiking/camping, but tried one in advance to check on flavor and ease of use. The package directions are easy to understand. The pizza was barely warm and very dry, but edible. Have not yet tried the others.
