Hard Carrying Case for Samsung T7 Portable SSD -Black

new in sealed box. worked perfectly. easy set up. Does not heat up as I have it connected full time to back up my computer. Can't speak of longevity yet bcz I just received it. It did purchase the Recovery Insurance should for some reason it fails. Very nice, compact, slim not much bigger than a credit card in lengthxwidth. Very pleased.

Not a thing to dislike, this is a great value at this price. There IS room for a short cord in the mesh compartment, despite what I have seen in some other reviews. If you have really long cord to wind up it wouldn't fit of course but a short one of a dew inches will. Great quality, feels good and sturdy. Nice fit inside and it is soft inside, your drive will be well protected, and the zipper seems sturdy too.

High quality I use it to keep my 2 TB hard drive in plus cables I feel confident when my electronics are in it

Well constructed case for the Samsung T7 Solid State Disk Drive. The drive fits snugly into the form-fitting recess in the case so it is well protected (which is the whole point). The included Velcro cable ties for cable management are a nice touch. The pocket for storing the USB cable has room for one of the two cables that comes with the T7. Not really a problem though since I only use one cable at a time (the other languishes in a drawer). The plastic zipper tab is somewhat flimsy so if it breaks I would use a small paper clip as a replacement. The included detachable wrist strap is pointless since why would anyone in their right mind be slinging a disk drive on their wrist, backpack or anywhere else. Overall a good purchase.

This is where my Samsung T7 lives. It's safe in there.

I have several of these cases for my Samsung T5s, that work well so I bought this case for the T7. The small drive is great for traveling and the case provides a secure protective barrier from impact. Several reviews commented that the pocket inside the case is too shallow for multiple cords. Two will fit, but it is tight. I keep one cord in the pocket for the computer I use this drive with the most. I have several Apple computers, phones, laptops, iPads - all with different cords. I keep a separate case with all the various cords anyway. I like the smaller profile of the case compared to other cases, so sacrificing a bit of interior space is an acceptable trade off.

Invested in a Samsung T7 on Black Friday. Thought I better buy a case to with it. Couldn’t be more pleased. Fits perfectly in the case. Plush but sturdy. Handy netting in top half to hold leads. Comes with Velcro lead ties, and removable carry/hand strap. Excellent

These are my observations regarding this product: 1) The pictures on Amazon are accurate. However, I want to point out that the actual color for the Navy carrying case is slightly darker on-hand compared to the pictures I can see on my monitor. I think that this is a common issue for computer monitors (colors may not be 100% accurate to what you can see in real life) but I wanted to point it out. 2) I like the soft, fur-like lining on the interior of the case. I think that it will do a great job of protecting my Samsung T7 SSD. 3) The Samsung T7 SSD has a very snug fit inside the case. 4) You probably noticed this on Amazon's pictures. The compartment for the USB cable does not leave much room for the USB cable. Samsung included two USB cables with the T7 SSD (USB-C to C and USB-A to C). Both can fit on the compartment but it will be a very snug fit. I mentioned this because this can potentially cause scratches to the T7 SSD if the metal parts of the USB cables come into contact with the SSD while the carrying case is closed. That is not a deal breaker for me since I decided to keep the USB cables separately but it is worth noting in my opinion. 5) I am not a big fan of the handle because it feels flimsy to me. I prefer a built-in handle but that is not a deal breaker for me because I will likely place this case inside a bag while traveling. Overall, I highly recommend this carrying case. I think that the materials used are of high quality (except for the handle). I am confident that this carrying case will do a great job of protecting my Samsung T7 SSD.
