I purchased a couple of different metal, tree rings recently. Another brand was slightly easier to install, however, this heavy and sturdy model will probably outlast the next 3 owners of my home. I did not subtract a star for being harder to install, because it is based on being thicker and stronger, which I knew from the start. It has a nice rustic or industrial look now, and will only look more natural as it develops patina. I wanted this taller one because this particular tree is on a hill. By driving the upper side deeper, and leaving the lower side more exposed, I got a nice, level planting area without a ton of digging! Mission accomplished! Note: somehow the clamps were not included in my package, but the seller got them to me very quickly without any hassle at all. Recommend!

This tree ring is a solid product. The material is clearly high quality — sturdy, durable, and built to last. The hardest part of the project was getting everything to line up in a perfect circle, especially with uneven ground. So far, so good... everything feels secure, and the overall look is what I was hoping for. Time will tell how it holds up long-term, but first impressions are positive.

Bought this to put around my tree to make a barrier so grass and weeds would not grow around the tree. Also to make it easier to trim around the tree. It was pricey but worth it.

These tree rings will work well even in hard, rocky clay soil.

I purchased this to replace a brick border around the plantings that surround our bird bath. It looks great! The bricks were used to add height to our planting bed border. Of course, I had to purchase more bricks. Like 200 more bricks! What a can of worms I opened!!!!!!
