LOVE/HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS BOOK
OK, so at first I was ready to throw this book to the side in frustration because of how the MC, Summer quickly got on my nerves. She was pushy, winey, and I couldn't stand the way she spoke. She would begin to explain or address something then stops, and redirects her sentence alot by saying "look..." That part drove me nuts! She speaks this way throughout the entire novel. And even some of the other characters, like Jenna, used that form of speach as well. But I just let that pass. There's another thing I was irked about this book was how primative the character spoke, and behaved, yet they knew how to operate space crafts and other such cutting edge technology. But any way, its a syfy book. So i dont really care too much about world building laws. I focused more on the characters. And just when I was about to get frustrated over summer's behavior, (her moodiness, her impatience, her demeaner, etc) she drops a bomb of information that had me baffled! I then completely related to her! And cheered for her not to give up on getting home. Lol! I don't want to spoil the story so I won't mention her secret. But it moved me to tears!!!! So I pretty much went from 'I can't stand her' to 'omg, get home sweetie!' 'don't give up!'. Other things that I loved about this story was the practicality of decisions they make. They don't make ridiculous unrealistic choices. Its well within their abilities, given their situation. I like how the author created a world and culture that seemed visually real. It was believable and structured in a way that made sense. The only thing I wish was different about this book was Summer's personality. She didn't seem like she was from a small town. She sounded more like she came from Los Angeles. Trust me, I know because I live there. Lol! (Maybe that's why I was able to hate her and relate to her at the same time)! Lol! But anyway. I like the book over all.

Ke'lar barely understood what she was saying, even with the implant, so I wondered if he really knew what she saying half the time. Hir culture is pretty stifling for females-humans especially- and Summer is able to make her escapes pretty easily, with Ke'lar's help, of course.Where are the female hir? Summer sees Jenna so comfortable and thinks she's a little crazy for accepting their way of life, but once reunited with Emma everything ends as it should.

LOVE BRIDGES ALL THE GAPS OF SPACE, THE HEART AND TIME.
I LOVED this one too, but it was a little slower than the first two as far as reading it goes. It is also a very different story from the first two. Ke'lar the brother of Ra'kar is faced with a very tough decision. One he ultimately decides is well worth the risk. Ar'Ar's mate Summer Mills has run away. Ar'ar, the first son of Malek and the old time enemy of his clan, Ke'lar find he must shield the little human and help her regardless of the consequences. Being confronted with doing what he thinks is right and what is lawful according to Hir council laws proves to be his only option..Summer has be taken and she absolutely must get back to earth to get her little daughter back from her ex husband before he discovers she has been taken by aliens. What follows is a wonderful, sweet, heartwarming story of unbridled and completely devoted love and caring. I know you will just melt when you read. You find that you are cheering for the love between human and alien and praying there is a peaceful solution A must read.

Warriors of Hir series, by Willow Danes
I am so glad I found this Space Opera set by Willow Danes. Book 1 gave me some surprises. Then I got sucked in and haven't stopped reading at every chance I got until I finished book three. I cannot explain it. The presets don't apply. it is a series with stressed female MCs and alpha males on the edge who are big and scary and subversively gentle. So the sex scenes are (IMHO) just lovely. This is not great literature but it is good, skillful writing and I loved all of it, so for that reason I am giving this series a five star rating.

but it is just relaxing to read and leaves you feeling good at the end
I am so sorry that book 4 is not out yet. Just finished reading the 3rd of the series. Enjoyable, relaxing, and clean book. Hir is short on women. So they have started kidnapping a woman at a time, and trying to get her to stay. Nothing new in a way of a plot, but it is just relaxing to read and leaves you feeling good at the end. Great book for a summer beach read.

Alien abduction romance is my guilty pleasure!
This series though nothing ground breaking in content, is just a really good read I love the Hir warriors,And their devotion to there mates when they find them. It always tickles me when gorgeous guys from out of space go crazy for human women, why can I not get enough of that idea I wonder?.
