For that price it should come with the little plastic tamper seal because it looks like they only sell packages of 100 tamper seals. I wouldn't need 100 tamper seals, just the one for the safety pin.

It's just what you think it is. If you've lost the pull-pin on your fire extinguisher for whatever reason, this will replace it. Mine, for reasons I'm unsure of, had a finishing nail where the pull-pin should have been. Yes, it kept falling out. Now, I have the proper pull pin that's easy to remove if I need it, and with the help of a twisty-tie, stays in place.

I needed 1 pull pin that I broke and the vender told me that I had to by a whole new fire extinguisher. I proved them wrong!
