Seventh Generation Hand Wash, Mandarin Orange & Grapefruit Scent, 12oz

We love all Seventh Generation products so we were thrilled when we received this new to product! It works great! My toddlers can use this and it doesn't dry their hands out! The lavender smells wonderful!!!!

Nice creamy soap. Lathers up nicely and does not dry out hands. Has no perfume which is good for people with allergies. Highly recommended!

I use a few Seventh Generation products and have tried many different types of natural liquid soap. Overall I would rate the Seventh Generation about average. Like Mrs. Meyers or Method, it is not the best on grease or oil and it will not completely wash newsprint off your hands after you handle a newspaper. The 2 brands that are better would be EO and Avalon Organics - those are my Top 2. Still, if you are not as demanding as I am, this is a good product. Plus, it is hard to find a liquid soap that meets ALL these criteria: Cruelty Free, No Animal Testing, Certified Gluten Free, BPA Free Packaging, No Synthetic Fragrances, Artificial Colors or Dyes, no Triclosan, and no Phthalates,. It is not easy to find other hand soaps with all those criteria, so kudos for that. Finally, here's a tip to make the soap last longer - Dilute it and make it into a foaming soap. Note: You will need an empty foaming hand soap pump container (you may have to buy one because you need that specific pump). Just pour about 1/5 liquid soap into the container, followed by 4/5 of water. Shake it around a bit to mix it up. Test it - if you want thicker foaming soap, add more soap. If you want thinner, add more water. This way, you will stretch the Seventh Generation bottle out for much longer and you will still have more than enough soap to be effective for casual hand washing. This also works well if you have an empty pump container for a regular liquid hand soap (any brand, it doesn't matter, as long as it works well). In this case, add maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of soap and 3/4 to 2/3 of water. You are just diluting the soap and getting more mileage out of it. It will still work well and be very effective. I cannot tell you how much money I have saved this way, it's awesome. If you are like me and you are frugal, this is the way to go. Enjoy....

Seventh Generation makes great plant based products. This hand soap lathers well and has a good consistency. The pump works well. I’ve had issues with other brands having “sticky” pumps or ones that splatter soap all over. That is not the case with these. The scent is pleasant, but not overwhelming like other fragrant soaps. I have enjoyed all the scents I’ve tried. Lavender is my go-to. The price is reasonable in comparison to natural, plant based hand soaps from other retailers. It was packaged well and none of the bottles were damaged upon arrival. If you’re looking for natural, non toxic, plant-based fragrance hand soap give these a try!

I finally got some more of these here on amazon after a long time. This is one of our family's favorite hand soap. Its gentile but works well and not too overpowering with scent, light scent which is nice. I do hope there are sales but definitely worth it.

I prefer scent free hand soaps, but bought this by accident. I was not disappointed! The scent smells very clean and mild and doesn't linger on the hands. This soap is very gentle on your skin, but cleans very well.

It smells great, fruity without any chemical scents and it cleans extremely well but it does dry out my skin. I’d used it for a week and found that my hands were getting very dry, to the point that joints were cracking. After switching back to a different natural product the dryness went away. My wife however hasn’t experienced any issues and also like the fruity scent. she continues to use it daily. I like that the great majority of usual chemicals used in liquid soaps has been removed here, we’re trying to rid the house of as many chemicals as possible so this was expected to be a great alternative to the usual offerings. It’s unfortunate for me but I will look forward to trying another Seventh Gen hand wash product. The hand pump works well and is easy to operate in such a way that we get only as much as we want dispensed. Price wise this is a good deal considering the volume vs. cost and the little amount that’s needed to do a good job with each wash.

Love seventh generation products, this soap is easy on the skin, cleans well, doesn’t dry out your skin, and doesn’t have a strong scent.

This product obviously rode around in a cold car all day. By the time it was delivered it was frozen and had leaked all over everything else in my package. 1/4 of the bottle is already gone. This is very disappointing.
