Mepitel One is one sided (sticky on one side and not on the other) If you want 2 sided, order the mepitel. I have very sensitive skin and most bandages I can wear only 1 day. I can use Mepitel-One for several days and replace it several times without getting a rash or skin breaking down. I get insect bites and am a scratcher. I will cut a piece of Mepitel-One to cover the bite or wound and place it in place. Not only does it promote healing, but it also reminds me to to scratch. This has been the BEST product I have found. I was introduced to it at the wound clinic. My husband has been treated often for the last 10 years. It really enhanced his healing also. It may be a little costly, but it is worth every cent. I did order the 2 sided product once by mistake and inorder to not waste my money used plastic wrap on one side so it didn't sick to clothes. I have also used it on my face and since it is clear, it didn't stand out that much. Hope this helps.

Works great! I tore the skin on my arm 5 days ago and no matter how I covered and treated it, it was not getting better until I switched to using this product. I love how simple this is - bring self adhesive. Just cut it to size and applied it after cleaning the wound, without any added creams.This product lets you see the wound without removing it, and peels off easily when you want to, without damaging your skin. It has vent holes to let the wound heal, while still protecting it. And it is clear and pretty non obtrusive. -- way better than traditional bandages and pads.

This not a simple "over the counter" medical supply item - but for hospital use. I was surprised it was available on Amazon to the public!I learned of it during recent wound treatment. It is a soft, perforated, silicone sheet that lays directly on a wound for protection, yet breaths for healing. It's a bit sticky and adheres very well, but is very comfortable. Gauze or some form of other dressing can be placed over it.Highly recommended !!

I used this for a wound my wife had and found this to be amazing. My wife has very sensitive thin skin and bandaids will stick too well and can cause damage to the skin just trying to take them off. In addition she is on blood thinners and getting wounds to heal is more difficult because they continue to leak blood.This product sticks to a wound and has tiny holes that allow blood to leak through and congeal on the outside yet it stays intact. You can leave the silicone pad on for several days and then just clean off the blood that has formed on the outside. A gentle pull gets the pad off without sticking to the wound.The wound heals because it is protected. After a couple cleanings and applications the wound is healed.They are expensive but worth the expense.
