beware of cold solder joints..
I never heard of this guitar until I started to see "chatter" about it on different guitar web sites.. I received it well packed. Plugged it in and it chimed (in a class A tube amp in Eminence "lady Luck speakers. all my cables are Mogami.. It chimed toggles both speakers. Much better looking then the pictures on the web.. The neck is long scale. Its a very heavy guitar The sound is more Gibson then Fender but it has a sound of its own. I play a lot of early electric blues especially the Maxwell Street sound (Robert Nighthawk).. because its low price $300 bux I wonder what the catch was.. Today I though my amps had blown up cuz there was not a sound to be heard..Cut to the chase.. its easy to get at the electronics. What I found was very poor soldering..cold solder joints. So, I don't advise this but if you look under the hood feel, lucky if you have shiny solder connections. I found a broken wire and a re soldered all joints all soldering points. Sounds better then ever. more kick in the belly and more high frequency output.I really like this guitar Like I said is a fine looking guitar with nothing to complain about, in fact the red paint jobs reminds me of a good custom car spray job. I already mention the long scale neck.. took me awhile to getting used to a whole different feel. Another review stated that he would pay 700$ for this guitar, and there is truth in that statement.. back to the weight, I'm a sit down player and the odd shape fits just right in my lap but I wouldn't like to play 3 sets with this guitar standing... Is as heavy as my Tri-cone.. if the soldering didn't look like it was done by monkeys, it would get 5 fat stars

good playing guitar after some adjustments.
The guitar played fine once I made some adjustments. The high e string was broken when it arrived and it needed a set up. The toggle switch was also loose. I'm not sure how long it sat in a warehouse but the companies q.c. could be a little better.

So far this guitar is FAR more than expected. Love the Sound and workmanship. Neck is perfectly straight. MAN what a Bargain!!! Own Fenders, Gibson and PRS and this will stand with most of them!

This guitar has it all!! Awesome looks, great playability straight out of the box, and amazing sound. Everyone that sees this guitar asks what it is, where I got it, and if they can check it out.
