Tidal Rock Slider Rock Guard Nerf Bar Step Armor Fit for 87-95 Wrangler YJ

I bought these for my 1990 Wrangler. These are great looking and great fit. I get complements everywhere I go about them. I don't know if I would call them a step unless your jeep is a stock height. I have a 6" lift on mine and they sit so high up on the rocker that you almost need another step to reach them. Over all the look of them is exactly what I wanted and I am very happy.

The only thing that i disliked was the stainless steel hardware. Though they look great, you have to be extremely careful because the allenhead bolts strip out easily. Other than that, this product is very durable and the fit is very good. Take your time, get a couple of people to help, get a heavy RUBBER MALLET( so you don't ruin the finish) then after you get it where you want it, tighten the body bolt tight...THEN DRILL THE HOLES!!! MIME CAME OUT GREAT!!! GOOD LUCK!!! I WILL BUY THESE AGAIN WHEN I BUILD ANOTHER WRANGLER

Sliders are labeled left and right, but whoever put the stickers on was a little confused and got them mixed up. Set the slider up to the jeep make sure the angle side is at the rear to follow the flare. Easy install, took about an hour to do both side. The hardest part was bringing myself to drill into my mint original 30 year old tub.

These look great on my 88yj and I'm sure they will protect it for years to come.

Tubing is closer to 1 5/8 so now I question is it truly .120 wall tubing ? Safety is in your hands
