Can she find the proof she needs in time to save them? - The Wife Stalker.REVIEW: I was so excited when I heard that Liv Constantine was releasing another book because their previous book âThe Last Mrs. Parrishâ blew me away. This book is another great thriller with plenty of twists along the way. I really enjoyed reading this book and rated it four stars. I rated it this way because I felt that the majority of the larger twists happened fairly close to the end of the book, and I felt like a lot of the plot and twists had to be explained by the characters rather than showed and developed through the entirety of the book. However, once the whole plot is revealed, the whole book seems to change, so I think that this book would make for a good second read-through because of it, and to catch all the smaller details they play into the plot. This book is told from the perspective of two characters: Joanna and Piper. I love these types of books where there are two main characters with intersecting plots. I felt that each character was very interesting and really pushed the story forward. I also felt that the other characters in the book were purposeful and added to the twists. As with most thrillers, I think it is better to go in as blind as possible. While this book has some vaguely similar elements to âThe Last Mrs. Parrishâ it is very different and I think the plot is quite unique. I would recommend this to others who love thrillers, domestic thrillers, and of course those who loved Liv Constantineâs previous books. I think this is a good thriller for a nice summer read!

What an ending. What a twist.
Leo Drakos is a high powered lawyer in a small town in Connecticut. But he has been depressed lately. Joanna is being patient with Leo, as she knows when he is like this she cannot push him too hard. When a case he is working on takes him to a wellness center Joanna suggests he go and take some meditation classes to help his depression. Joanna is happy when Leo starts to become his old self again, he is happier and is paying attention to the children (8yr old Evie and 6yr old Stelli) again. But Joannaâs happiness is short lived when she finds out the reason Leo is happier again is because of the Centerâs owner, newcomer Piper Reynard. Piper and Leo have fallen in love. But where does that leave Joanna? She is not about to give Leo up without a fight. And as she digs into Piperâs past and learns her secrets, Joanna becomes afraid for the lives of Leo and the children.Wow! There is not really much I can say about this book because anything would be a spoiler. This is told from the POV of Joanna and Piper. I will say that none of the characters in this book are likeable or even trustworthy. I found myself throughout the book just shaking my head and getting so aggravated. I actually had to put the book down a few times because I was just so angry at what was going on. I kept trying to tell myself, It is just a book donât get so upset. But I guess that is a sign of good writing when an author can get to you like that. LolI was all set to give this book a 3 star rating because of some of the things that were happening in the book just didnât make sense but then the end happened. Boom! Wow what a Twist! I so did not see it coming and that made me stop and think about everything I had just read. Some of the reviews for this mentioned how they did not like that they were not given any clues. I feel that if the authors did give clues away during the book it would have ruined the ending. Reading this book and being so aggravated during it and then coming to the end without any knowledge is what bumped this up to a 4 star read for me. If I had known or guessed how this was going to end it would have ruined the book.So I say to Liv Constantine (sisters Lynne & Valerie) Kudos, you got me.This is my third book, I loved The Last Mrs Parrish. The Last time I Saw You was good. And I would put The Wife Stalker in between the 2 of them on my which was best scale.Look forward to reading more from these sisters .

Not as good as The Last Mrs Parrish
This has a twist to it which is quite clever, but it isn't cleverly done and the plot is full of holes. Some are (poorly in my opinion) explained away.. such as the protagonist hasn't spoken to her mother for over 20 years, but the mother calls her on her cell phone to inform her that her father died. This is a minor one, supposedly explained away by "I asked a friend of yours for your number" but we are led to believe that she changed her identity and cut off her old ties completelyThe twist at the end could have been better handled. Throughout the book the reader is mis-led. But not cleverly... in quite a "small child performing a magic trick misdirection " type of way.

thats time i can never get back
i bought it, I read it. I wish I'd not bothered. It was written to meet the twist, just....sigh. I like a clever plot with a twist. The fact that I hated this says it all.Piper has to be one of the most irritating characters Ive had to endure in a book forr some time

Infantile tosh
Considering this book was a collaboration between two people, I would have thought they could have come up with something better. I am glad I only paid 99 pence as I read it practically to the end waiting for the âtwistâ then deleted it. I have never read such drivel.

Excellent read
This is the first book Iâve read, by this author (or two authors). Couldnât put it down. Told alternately from both Joannaâs and Piperâs points of view. Iâm usually put off by the headline âa twist youâll never see comingâ, but in this case it was true - really did not see that one coming and explains Leoâs seemingly callous behaviour! Now, off to buy one of their other books...
