Muzjig - Premium Pick Cutter Blue (with hard case).

The pick cutter itself is solid, and easy to use. It takes pressure to get your pick to cut, but not as much as I was expecting--the first pick I punched flew across the room--I was punching it 'in the air' so I could be sure the alignment was correct...and whoosh!The box has two little closure flaps on the box which snap onto the lid to hold it shut, and 'folded plastic hinges' instead of 'real' ones. It smells like a hardware store. Haha! Nothing against the box or hardware store. Both are fine. They just smell like each other. :)The padding inside is the box custom-cut and the cutter fits snugly there . There's also a small cut out for the pick holder (mine is black) which is a bit odd because the pick holder has an adhesive back--so it's meant to be used somewhere else, not kept in the case. The remaining hole is too large to use for pick storage. The padding has lines of adhesive on the bottom, so I think it was adhered to the bottom of the box. But mine came right out, so that adhesive had stopped sticking. If I end up caring about it (not an issue at all for me right now) it should be easy enough to reattach it with glue or a glue stick or double-sided tape, or  Glue Dots , or something else.The pick cutter doesn't have a long "reach," so you will need to cut your plastic with something else first if you want a design not at the edge of your plastic. It's also not long enough to cut from the "other side" of the included pick strips. (The tapered part of the pick points towards the handle--the wide part is at the edge of the cutter. So, you can't align the wide part of the pick with the outer edge, points towards the middle, to most efficiently use up the pick strips.) The 10 included strips of plastic had 2 each of 5 designs, as pictured in the product info.I have punched a few picks from the included strips and a gift card. So far, so good.No file board was included with my kit, and the cut picks are a bit rough around the edges, so a file is something that is definitely needed. I think I have nail files around, so I plan to find one and use it to smooth the picks later.

I am not generally given over to any reviews Pro or Con, however, I feel this product deserves to have a review of the good/bad (not so good)..This pick punch is absolutely the best I've ever used ( I've used other brands). It's heavy duty, so I feel it will not break under ordinary usage. It is packaged in a sturdy carrying case, much unlike many other brands of punch I have seen. The plastic pick sheets are varied by color and design, making this another attractive feature, and even comes packaged with a pick keeper. I really have only two issues… The Pick File included is not very good. It needs to have two different grades of sanding edges (finishing). I also feel that the cutter itself could use some sort of pick view, so you could line up your pick punch with some of the pick sheet designs they sell. Otherwise, it’s the perfect tool for any guitarist.Buy one... you won't be disappointed!

My kids love using picks with there toy guitars. Couldn't bring myself to spend a bunch of $ on picks when the few we had were constantly being "lost". Got this kit, cut out a bunch of picks with the included blanks and cut a bunch more with old gift cards. Kids love them.The cutter itself works well but does leave a burr around the outer edge. The file works well to clean them up but it does take a bit of extra time when making a bunch of them.

I bought this as a valentines gift for my bf and he LOVED it! He's always losing his guitar picks so this was the perfect gift for him. I was surprised that the pick cutter was sturdy and made of good material. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the shipping took FOREVER and it never let me track my order because it never notified me when it shipped. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about the product itself

I just got this and wanted to give my first impression on it. Nicely packaged with everything you will need to get started. Works well, easy to operate with a slight amount of pressure. Lets see how well it stays sharp enough to cut after a while of use. I have used it to cut up 15 credit card mail promotional cards and it worked great. I was able to get 5-6 picks per card depending on how I chose to cut them.

This was a great gift for one of the musicians in our family. It's not fancy, but it's useful and unique. I considered buying additional strips of plastic so he wouldn't run out but was pleased to see that you can use old hotel key cards or loyalty card. He has a few picks with his name on them from Starbucks cards. It's not too spendy...but thoughtful and useful. Would totally buy as a gift again.

I ordered this as a Christmas present and it came really quickly! I was worried it would not make it in time. My husband had to try it before I wrapped it, and now he wants one too! Gave 4 stars just because it hasn't been used but 2 times and have no idea if it will cut well after more use. BUT, it worked really well when my husband used it.

I bought this cutter as a gift for a musician. For the price, I was impressed with the packaging and how it was gold colored! I rated as a 4 because I have not had feedback on its actual use. I am sure it works great though--came with material to cut the pics, as well-very nice bonus!
