Sho's B-6 Kun, Compact Hibachi Grill, 3 Piece Set

First off the grill is cute as all hell, and you know i and nearly everyone here bought if because of Yuru Camp. But besides that, it’s genuinely a good grill.Lets start off on why it’s worth getting. First the construction is really good, it assembles well and doesn’t wobble. Also you might worry about the aluminum rivets like i did, don’t worry the thing has great air flow and so much so that i could touch the rivets and not get burned right away. Second the size is perfect, packs super compact and flat. Which also makes it easy to clean. Just toss in soupy water and soak and scrub, cleans up really easily. Weight is also good, weighs just 2 pounds with the grill grate and with then heavy duty charcoal grates. Also for lighting up charcoal in it, it’s really easy as well so long as you use the right starting method. But i can report thaan charcoal works well in this. Honestly if you want a grill or fire pit for camping this is an exceptionally good choice

Fans of a certain manga/anime will immediately recognize this thing. It's a mini metal offering box. NO! It's a combination grill and campfire rocket stove that can fold down to the size of a small, very heavy, book.It's made from stainless steel, so this weighs just over a pound (500 grams). It's definitely heavier than the titanium backpacking stoves on the market, so that's something to keep in mind if you are a backpacker when every gram counts. If you have a vehicle, this can come along, no problem at all.The package came from Osaka, which is both cool and a little bit of a welcome surprise because of the flood of Chinese sellers on Amazon that made buying quality products a real challenge lately. The text on the package seal read, "開封厳禁" which translated means, "Do not break the seal", which I just found hilarious. It probably says that to keep retail clerks and warehouse workers from accidentally opening the package.You'd think a collapsible piece of camp gear would feel flimsy, but in this case you'd be wrong, this thing feels like a tank for its size. Assembly took a couple of minutes, you unfold the legs and short sides, slide in the long slides, insert the fuel grate pieces, and top it off with the grill grate if you're grilling, or the stabilizer pieces if you're using it as a rocket stove.I haven't used it yet, but from what I've learned from experience, it looks like the grate can take wood pellets if you have a bunch lying around. It recommends against liquid burners, but since it can take a full load of hardwood charcoal, I would imagine it could take an alcohol stove as long as you make sure it doesn't tip over or slide around. I wouldn't grill over an alcohol flame, though. If you burn wood, it will become sooty, so you'll need to find a way to prevent that (a thin coat of vegetable oil, perhaps) or clean it with oven cleaner.At just over a hundred bucks, this thing is a bit pricey, but if you do a lot of camping, this definitely beats lugging a full size grill to the campground. Plus, it should do a fine job as a rocket stove.

Good size for one person cooking a meal fast or 2 people who want to snack and eat slowly.

Honestly I bought this one because it's featured in one of favorite anime shows about camping. I was also looking for something different. So when I found this one online I jumped at it. When I received the B-6, I was surprised at its small size and weight. The next day I tested this out on the beach with charcoal and it was great. I would say this is a great buy if you're into camping, grilling and are looking for something unique that not everyone has.

Nice little fire pit for 3 seasons backpack camping trip, folds down to about 1 1/4 inch thick with all accessories inside. The iron grill crate is unseasoned so it needs to be washed and seasoned before first use. Otherwise it is almost as good as the certain anime portrayed in the story

I got this after watching laid back camp! I love it! I can use it on my patio and it packs away small enough to use while backpacking ; I would say, the cast iron grate is heavier than I expected but if you are going to use it as a portable fire pit that does not matter much. I got the Thaan binchotan charcoal and captain stag table to accompany it; binchotan is hard to light, and gets VERY hot; I recommend starting with a couple of easy light charcoal, then putting the binchotan on top. 10/10

I first seen this in a Anime called Yuru Camp and told myself I need this.. Easy to carry around. Great little bon fire if you gonna use it like that or great for small kine shabu shabu or yakitori sticks. Good for marshmallows too. I enjoy this especially how portable it is it could fit in your OCP/cargo pocket pants. Not good for big BBQ but best and great for solo camping or just drinking in a garage with 3 friends. I recommend buying metal skewers and try making a yakitori stick with Sweet unions and beef and portobello mushrooms wrapped in bacon. That's how I make mine. Also this brand also makes different grill tops for this. Its fantastic how portable and has a variety of items u can buy for this. Btw great to carry when your out in the field.

Yes I first saw this item in the anime Yuri Camp/Laid Back Camp, and I knew I had to get one. Yes it is a bit pricey, but well worth the cost. The grill I got came with the cast iron top grill, and two cast iron fire grates, and from what I understand, these are often sold as extra's. I've used it twice now with American charcoal and I've had no problems. Cooked a steak one time and some brauts, the second time. I had some problems with food sticking to the cast iron grill top, because I did not use enough PAM spray. I've read some people think its flimsy. However, when its fully put together, it is very sturdy. I will be using this when camping this summer. And yes, you can use a Trangia burner in it.

ゆるキャン△のリンちゃんに憧れて購入しました。奮発した甲斐がありました。ソロキャンの焚き火で使いましたが、ハードロストルがいい仕事をしています。耐久性抜群です。グリルプレートのシーズニングは少々面倒ですが1時間ほどで何とか。今度焼肉したいですね。

Just received mine today! Aesthetically it completely exceeded my expectations, the packaging, how compact it is and how smart the design! So looking forward to using it this Christmas!!

キャンプで使う前に、ライブの投げ銭受けにしました。ゆるキャンを知っている人にはウケていました。

気に入った点はとにかくコンパクトで、畳んだ際の収納性が抜群に良く、収納性だけであれば、他のどの焚き火台よりも優秀だと思います。まぁ焚き火台と言うよりは、ソロで炭火用と言った感じではありますが。不満な点は、このサイズにしてはかなり重量があること。500gと謡っていますが、グリルプレート込みで983gあり、付属のロストルを使うと1kgを超えます。それと画像ではグリルやロストルが黒っぽく見えますが実際には完全に銀色で使用には関係ないと思いつつも色合いも重量も何か違うなぁと少しガッカリしてしまいました。
